@@kodivoid9109 I agree, they know what they were getting into when they signed up, however, I feel like the celebrities have the right to say beforehand "I dont want to discuss topic XYZ for whatever reason" and the interviewer should respect that. Also, I doubt RDJ's past was relevant to whatever movie he was there to promote, so it seems a bit of bad manners to bring it up. Also, there's certain topics that could seem innocent, but in reality are quite offensive or too personal. I mean, what if you had a family member die recently and an interviewer asked you about the family member, after you specifically asked them not to. How would you react?

Agreed. Dont get me wrong, Jim is OUT there and you really have to think to feel where he's coming from and rationalize what he's thinking when he says some of the things he says. But he's not crazy... maybe just not the best at articulating. Though, who of us would be in an interview setting?

Its totally fine saying " do you like her hair that way?" when the person is present. Brand was rightfully upset at everything else though.

Russell brand was 100 percent right though. You don't use he when someone is present. You use their name. Embarrassing that an american reporter didn't know that. I mean you can switch to "he" after you referred to him by his name earlier sentence. Congrats to russell.

Most of the time people play certain roles great because that's their character in real life, notice he plays an asshole or jerk in most movies and hes a jerk in real life from what I've heard from people that were on the set as extras. That James Brown interview is hilarious. The only think uncomfortable about it is how awesome it is. Seriously, both the host and James, with completely different energies are contributing to up the hilarity as far as it'll go. As an interview it was a complete success

Most interviewers did not do their homework. Not knowing who Russel Brand is. Getting names wrong or mixed up. Asking questions on which you know infuriates the other and thinking that 'it is my job to ask those questions' is OK. Interviewers should do some research so they ask valid and smart questions.

This channel has really raised in quality. When the channel first started I used to be a fan and I'm pleased to find your channel again and see how much better your video editing and sound is just much more viewer friendly with smooth transactions between facts

If you watch the entire Russell BRAND interview you see how his intellect destroys Mika Brzezinski and panelists Katty Kay and Brian Shactman who preferred to make jokes at Brand's expense, pretend they couldn't understand what he was saying, and refer to him in the third person even though he was sitting right there. Russell Brand is not to be underestimated and continues to demonstrate to the lowlife "journalists" how professionals conduct of interviews and delivering news should be by illustrating how it is to be done. Finally, he calls Brzezinski a "shaft grasper" and advises her to "lose the ring." Nobody could say nothing..

I feel like that interviewer that was talking to Robert Downey jr was so out of line, like he was just wanting to bring up something from the bad times from someone else's life, like he could have turned it around and made it an educational thing for dealing with emotional, social, and personal problems, but he obviously just wanted to bring Robert back to those dark days, and that is something you should never do with a recovering addict because they are told to just move forward and try not to look back.
