I have this bag in a taupe color. This is primarily used in everyday life as an active mom. It is extremely functional, sleek, and minimalist (my aesthetic). One of my favorite features is placing my cell phone in the outer pocket for easy access. My bag is still in excellent condition after several months of use. There is minimal patina.

How’s the magnetic issue? Do you feel the bag is secure?

Once the magnet is clicked in place, it is secure, but sometimes it’s not super easy to make sure it’s clicked in place, especially when you’re outside - it requires a bit of focus.

I got this bag in the same color and it came Horribly made, both sides were wrinkled and all the glazing was terribly sloppy. I sent them pics, they did not apologized, did not offered any exchange . So I returned it and lost 120 dollars in this transaction because they charge customs fee also. I am very upset about this whole experience and needless to say Guibert is no more for me. So sad , I wanted this bag so badly😢

That is terrible! I wish they would have at least offered an exchange. I wonder if it’s because they’re trying to produce too many of these bags and not quality controlling every batch.

I agree. The clasp looks beautiful but it gets scratches easily. Mine full of scratches already. The clasp is not easy to close and as the bag doesn’t have a zipper, I just feel that it’s not a good bag to keep my wallet and phone. My phone fell off so many times from the back pocket. The leather is good quality but bag is not well made. Definitely not consider a luxury although it’s a French brand.

Thanks for the video. I am trying to find out how the strap is attached to the bag but their site n this video doesnt show it.... i thought how the strap is attached to the bag is also a must to check/go through as the strap will hold significant amt of weight???

Hi, hope you were able to see it clearly in the video. The straps are stitched to the sides of the bag. I’ve had no issues with the strap attachment 😊

I have two of this Allure bag in different colors. I don’t like this bag anymore because the clasp is not easy to close and it’s also not secure. Not a good travel bag because it doesn’t have a zipper so it will be too easy for pickpockets to open the bag and steal stuff.
