It surprised me a lot, because the ideology remained the same. I know that when you release African nations as puppets, either as commie or fascist, you get some very over the top spicy country names and some surprisingly badass flags, but Switzerland is democratic by default and got puppeted as democratic. I made them into a puppet of every ideology before; except for democratic, since I figured that because they already start as democratic, they would stay the same. Clearly not. A very nice easter egg, I would say.

Fun fact: Schweizerische Eidgenossenschaft is the full official name of Switzerland in german
