UK doesn't become a core because originally it was France, Italy, Germany and the Lowlands cooperating economically to fend off Soviet overreach. The UK wasn't part of this. The only way the EU can happen with the UK is under the UK fascist path as after the war Oswald Mosley was a big fan of a united Europe even though the EU itself didn't exist then. Mosley was a bit flip flop with ideology so it's weird to see in hindsight.

I add that Otto von Habsburg of "not aligned" Austria-Hungary should be able to unite Europe, it was a supporter of the Paneuropa project.

Mosley did not flip flop with his pan europeanism. He always wanted Britain to be strong in its own right, but with the context of the cold War that was impossible alone, so he supported the EU as a way for europe to stand up to both America and the USSR.

Mosley never flip flopped. He was just odd and didn’t fit perfectly in our categories and conceptions.

I love how Czechoslovakia survived until the end, I feel like if the EU was to be united under a single nation irl, we would be the ones to "politely" opt-out 😆

Not sure if anyone has said it yet, but if you dont want war with the Soviets, you can release Moldova in the peace deal with Romania and the Soviets will justify on them instead. Great video though! Subscriber earned

Maybe they should add another thing that Rome can get cores in any country that claimed to be a successor of Rome -- e.g. the HRE or Russia as well. That would be fun, and gives a reason to attack the Sovjets.

I am having a hard time doing the paradops in France. They send one, then I can't send another one. In the time I am able to send another one, the first was encircled and died, or France placed their air wings up. How can you send multiple, with only 50 transports?

I also send them one after another. Maybe you used your airforce (I didn't). The AI reacts mostly to what you are doing, so if you have no airforce up, it won't intercept you (mostly)

​@@chaoticflorius Part of that reason (at least that's my cope) is that paradox understands that Dmowski was IRL as much of a fascist as average HOI IV player is a ballerina (I mean sure half of us wear skirts and thigh highs but that's not enough to call someone a ballerina) but they wanted to give the fascist tree some more flavour as all polish political trees have possible choices later down the line- Sanacja has left/right and castle options. Peasant revolt as PSL's democratic path and Stalinists. Monarchist path has 5 different monarchs, but without Dmowski there would only be Piasecki's path (and yeah those guys were actual fascists, if they had the opportunity they'd be building gas chambers, kind of "people") making the fascist tree the only one without choices, and so, combined with no "conquer this country" focues they at least hinted that the Dmowski's path isn't as evil as the other one... but imho Dmowski (if you *need* to put in someone who's party fell into obscurity at the time and who IRL died in January 1939, into this game) should be it's own democratic path. Because that's what he was- his party "National Democracy" was no more nationalistic than conservative party in UK at the time, and a lot less imperialistic. Unlike UK that occupied a quarter of the globe Dmowski wanted free and independent Ukraine and Belarus after the Polish-Bolshevik war, allied together with Lithuania and a much smaller Poland (yes, a "fascist" wanted a smaller country and free international cooperation) his proposal was Poland without the Eastern Territories (basically what happens if Poland gives up the east to USSR and Wilno to Lithuania but keeps Gdansk) which would be integral parts of aforementioned free Belarus and Ukraine.

Just dont put any planes up in the air region. The AI will only try to counter yours, so if you have 0 planes they will not put any there either most of the time. If they have like 2 planes in the region, just concentrate all your airforce for a second in the region and that should be enough for the order to go through before the AI can react.

Hey, democracies cant justify on someone unless they generated world tension. How did you do that (I mean like invading Ireland, Denmark) ? Is this democratic path is an exception for that?

I don't think they have generated world tension, or are they 😅 I also saw on the Liberia part on the video I guess, justify war goal option was avaliable. You know normally on vanilla democracies can't do world conquest at all. But i think italy can, am i right ?

You can do it easier when you are at war with France justify against UK then after you capitulate them you paratroop on UK somehow Yugoslavia chech republic and Romania capitulate with UK at least it worked in my game

My way is before I take Triumph in Africa, I did my conquest first, with minimum effort that is. Halfway before done with Ethiopia, I justify on France first (because 2 way war at this point is a nightmare), just wait until completing some army reforms focuses before killing France with Paratroopers. Only then I justify on Yugoslavia as they will get guaranteed by the UK, just hold your land bordering Yugoslavia for now. Surround London but occupy all of UK, then go psycho and justify and declare war on everyone on the Balkans and Benelux (except Albania which you can get via focus and have a bonus if you do it and Spain which is still in civil war) plus Portugal, Iraq, Saudi, Austria, Hungary, and maybe some extras like Siam and Iran, they will all join Allies which is exactly what you want. When done, just finish off UK and you can annex everything. I prefer annex despite the garrison as I don't have to annex them again when I am going Mare Nostrum
