They would need him as commission's president to unified. A politician that has the enough willpower to follow his goal until his brain fries and go crazy/depressed. With lot of them you can clearly see that they simply don't care.

USA managed, there was serious resistance to the idea of centralized government, including a civil war. Imo, over time, EU will get more cohesive to allow this.

@@TheLordboki No. There are some pretty substantial differences between the US and the EU. With the US there is a common language and culture that binds the states together. The EU has none of that. The causes of the US Civil War can be summed up as economics (yes, slavery was a matter of economics).

Once again, I recommend to boost AI nations, choose AI economic boost in preset settings and boost majority of bigger nations so that AI will not suicide itself in Millenium Dawn. It's unfair to player, but at least the world isn't collapsing. And if you're playing a nation that allows boosting, difficulty debuff and boost cancel each other and you get only buffed AIs. And a small research malus.

Also, I am amazed at how easily you got that debt down. Were it so easy... Also, hearing you talk about the migrant problem, sorry you had to deal with it. Paris, Ii assume? I at least hope you got to see some of the countryside, it's got the best parts of the country, especially for a holiday.

I don't think you have yet tried Italy but you should it has very many fun things in it'd focus tree and options

You now know the reasons why a ton of South Koreans are starting to move away from unification with the north. It would cost the country short term more than it’s worth

Great Video also because it even motivated to try the mod myself. Looking forward to the next one. If you wanna try another european country I'd recommend monarchist Sweden, i've already tried it and I was able to do something interesting way earlier than with other countries but only got a good industry/economy through puppeting Germany. :)

Europe has had a thousand years to develop independent, prideful nations who only decided to finally get along after 2 world wars and the invention of weapons that would have made a 3rd world war apocalyptic. Convincing them all to give up their independence was always going to be a major pain in the ass. Doing so by 2014 strains credibility as it is. African countries might be even more reluctant to surrender autonomy to a past colonial power. There is plenty of historical baggage there. They'd need a very compelling reason... like being dug out of crippling debt and extended all of the lovely welfare benefits of a developed European power. If everything is going great, they'll stick on their own. With all of the horrible political BS you needed to deal with, it's no wonder that so many nations considered leaving.

When u are at war your military budget goes up by like 100% i think. Also you dont need to click on a state and then on the flag to look at a nation you just have to right click.
