yes but its a footballing term too...as you know there divided by year groups the same way.i worlk in a category 1 academy and we use it today . he wasnt referencing school .@@nozza87

@@nozza87 im 21 and this is a term we all used all the way from primary to the end of secondary school. and occaisonally now when speaking about stuff like this. i didnt know its an old school term, whats the alternative way of saying it?

@@j.a.i.6626 “he’s a year older” I guess. Are people getting confused with old skool (i.e from time gone by)? I just meant school term “year older”. 64 people seemed to get it 😂
This is without a doubt to me the best podcast on KZread. The chemistry amongst the 3 of them is out of this world. Looking forward to more great content.

If I could bottle up Micah's laugh and inject it, I would. I've been having a difficult time mentally and listening to this, especially Micah, made me smile and laugh. So, I thank you guys very much and so glad to find this podcast

Lineker is Ballon d or runner up in 1986. Shearer is Ballon d or second runner up in 1996. Neither of them is swapping their careers with Micah

This is such a great podcast. As a Villa fan, I know, while Micah didn’t play his best football at Villa, but he’s known as a positive influence in the changing room. Three legends.

What a bloke , Gary Lineker. Whom i actually met in , Barbados. My brother Jeremy runs a water sports business. Gary was a customer, and being a former Spurs fan myself, my brother said “ there’s Gary Lineker” I met him and had a ten minute conversation. Up the Lineker!!

Age 43 (ok that is old) but I remember Lineker very well and his goal in the semis against West Germany is always stuck in the memory. Superb finish. 👍🏾

It's a team game
I’m always baffled that they always seem to forget each others stories. We’ve heard probably 95% of all this on the previous top 10 podcasts but yet I still watch them 😂
Please bring on Ian wright, would be absolute gold
Their careers are very different and admirable. But, I’d take Gary’s. I love what Shearer did at Newcastle, it’s really not about medals and money. But Gary was a lovely player, so gifted and a proper sportsman.
Great hosts, great chemistry, great content.....Great podcast.

Jimmy Greaves is still the greatest english goalscorer we've ever had, nearly all of his goals were open play only 27 were penalties. This content is great and the banter is class

Micah mentions this around the 12 mins mark,..and I agree fully. Match of the day is the BEST punditry highlights program in any sport, world over EVER. And I have travelled the world watching all kinds of sports highlights programs ...the reason why I say this is because,... you all know what you are talking about and explain it in such a way that the man on the street can understand.,.. You have all been there and have done it yourselves, ....and to top it off, you are all good mates and enjoy each other's banter, and take the piss out of each other with a laugh. And as a viewer, it is so entertaining to watch. Even my partner who hates football loves to see guys talking to each other 🙂 You guys are by far the best,....and it doesn't even look like you are trying.

Brilliant that Gary Shearer and Big Meeks have started their podcast as Match of the day 10 show they do together is brilliant they have terrific chemistry I missed the start of the podcast series so I'm watching them backwards started of earlier with Fabrizio Romano , every episode is hilarious .

Winning a top-flight title with Rovers is the single greatest accomplishment of any of the 3, even greater than being the Premier League’s all-time scorer. Shearer didn’t have the silverware but he had the best, most outstanding career of the 3.
