Especially the Swedish-American community in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Mike and Seth are from the South. Southerners are sometimes known for being a little more blunt.

One of the perks of having a pro martial artist friend is that you can't get too worried about getting hit at doz nuts.

Back in the day for board breaking we had some sort of hard plastic board where the halves fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. Those were actually quite hard to break. You had to have your technique on point.

Jesse laughed so many times, but he didn't get any boards.

Thanks Jesse. Those videos of those masters throwing their chi bounced me all over my room! It's irresistible!

In my taekwondo school in Alaska, we used to break one inch pine wood boards. If they were dry, it wasn't too bad, but sometimes you'd get a moist batch and you could kick those things forever without them breaking. I remember my heal really hurting after several axe kick attempts.

Hey Jesse! What kind of wood are those board made of and how thick? I usually train with pinewood cuz that's the cheapest around here (it's for firewood anyway lol), but I'm looking for more challenge. Also.. do you have any videos on training/using Keiko-ken? You know.. the index finger phalange fist/AKA Phoenix fist? I train that too much like you'd train ..umm.. Nukite/spear hand?
