This series is definetly a "stand there stoicly looking cool" set. If you get Mikey as Batman, you won't be disappointed. He's the best out of them all for sure.

For me, that Bat Mikey is the least desirable one of them all. I didn't pick that one up, or the heavily discounted Shredder and Ra's al Ghul pack. I kinda regret not getting that set, but zero regrets on Bat Mikey! lol *No offense, considering you dig it so much; just not my bag.

As I commented on the Donnie/Batgirl video, I got these all when they originally came out. Being a fan of both properties, and having loved the comics the movie was based on, which I also loved, these were worth the retail price when they came out. Even better if you had been able to get some on sale after they hung around for a bit. As far as articulation for the ENTIRE set, this was DC Collectibles, and they RARELY did double jointed elbows or great head articulation before they started the Icons line towards the end. These have better, and MORE articulation that the standard DC Collectibles figure did, and thankfully the joints were not made of clear plastic, which had a tendency to crumble to dust over time.

I totally agree, I actually like these figures a lot... I mean... Look at my picture lol. When they were new they posed great and stayed in poses well excluding batgirl, and Alfred, ankles just seemed weak. Out of the box they actually move unlike.. you know.. Neca, there's no way I could get those poses without a hairdryer or warm water and they still might break.

Glad I got these when i did. They are a fun set once you get all of them and have them displayed together. Definitely not for busy handed types. Gotta pose them and let them be, and not near the front of the shelf. Lol

Great review as always Johnathan! I got all these at GameStop when they came out, these were my first turtle figs in a while, I gave them all to my son, they’re definitely not Neca quality, but cool to just play around with. The Ras Al Gul is surprisingly great looking and has a great headsculpt.

I don't _really_ have anything else to add, just want to say something positive after my vicious attack comment on you. So, um...I still have these figures in the box! Well, I did open this set, and fondled Batman to see that the cape just fits right over the neck, which is how *every* Batman cape should be. So yeah, my whole plan was to add a wired cape...that I've yet to do. And Batman is still sitting on my office desk for about as long as it's been out.

The Batman and Leo set is the last one I need but it isn’t worth the money imo. I have every set but it, and they’re so fragile and have such thin pegs that I rarely pose the ones I do have around. Mine had so many issues. I think I gave like $32 for all the sets I do have at GameStop. It’s funny how when these were first released, GameStop practically couldn’t give them away 😂

I watched every review you did on this line of figures, and I still decided I absolutely needed them on my shelves😅 i know the articulation isn’t great and the weapons need to be handled with more care than usual, but the molds are just so perfect, ripped straight from the movie (which is fantastic btw) and I don’t know how long it may be before we get another round of a crossover this amazing that works so well😭 bout to clear a shelf to display these, the Batman vs. Tmnt Omnibus, and blu ray (in slip cover)😎 I’m a big bat boy and more recently got into the turtles because I wasn’t allowed to enjoy them as a kid, and since they crossed over with my original first love from the world of superheroes… I just wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t have these in my collection❤

Love ur stuff very entertaining! I definitely bought these on their initial release jic I wanted them later🤷🏽‍♂️lol. Side note Leo has scabbards google search shows, “A sheath is usually just made of leather and is flexible. Scabbards are usually made of wood, sometimes covered in leather, and are stiff” so thats the big diff they’re wooden and stiff so scabs it is. Cant wait for the rest of them to be reviewed 👍🏽💯

My Leonardo’s arms thankfully haven’t popped out. Though I skipped out on getting Batman with Leo, even though the sculpt on Batman is mostly good, he literally had no chin. But yeah if he’s more prone to the pegs popping out, then It’s good that I skipped on that Batman.

Would you believe that the Batman from this set is the ONLY Batman action figure I own?? True story. I also love this Batman. He gives me old school Adam West Batman vibes. I dig the blue. I dig him. The cape material is awesome and lays really nicely...but a wire would be nice, I agree with you there. Leo is OK, and I haven't broken the swords yet. Yet... I have to say that my least favorite figures from these DC sets are Shredder and Ra's al Ghul. They aren't BAD, per se, I just don't care for those characters in those looks. But fuck it, they were, like, $9 each, and they make decent enough background low-level hoodlums. Nice review!

@@NostalgiaUnboxed eh, mercari is set up weird when it comes to paying. I like to use gift cards for my online transactions, as I don't have my bank account set-up for these kinds of transactions. So, gift card it is. And on mercari, we have to add an address for the card, and when i try to enter my address it says the address doesnt match up. Maybe i need to use the gift card company's address(?) Idk. I've bought from etsy and everywhere else just fine with the gift cards. Thanks for the heads up tho.

Wasn't a fan of this art style or movie because they changed the comic book art for no reason and they missed the point of the plot of the comic being that the turtles are from another universe they dont live in the dc universe the art is shity in the film and not my cup of tea cause they were going for a crappier stylized verion of andy khun's tmnt than the freddie williams II detailed oriented bulky tmnt
