Awka is not a developing city but a developing slum. I am ashamed at the government not redesign or design awka to have a comprehensive plan to achieve a city status. What is the anambra government surveyor doing ? We need a comprehensive urban planning in place and effort to be made that everyone building must follow the plan.

@@okoyejohn3947 Awka is the fastest developing city in Igboland and the city has beautiful outlooks and well planned from Udoka to Ngozika to the beautiful flyovers, beautifully ICC, beautiful neighborhoods, new infrastructures, awka millennium city. Owerri is a slum and a glorified village just like Umuahia, Enugu is an overhyped village with nothing happening in it. Anambra is clearly the most developed Igbo state. I know it’s painful for you to hear these realities i stated but it is a fact you have to live it. Imo and Abia should plan and build a decent capitals just like Awka is being built into a world class city and Onitsha is equally the fastest growing non state capital city in igboland and southern Nigeria. Anambra leads the whole of igboland in development. That’s why most imo indigenes live in Onitsha and Awka instead living in the slum and glorified village that’s Owerri

This is where our pass governors fail they don't care about plans but now the government have put eye there through (ACTDA) you there not to build house without any plans Approved

They are not building indiscriminately. Awka is a well planned beautiful city unlike the slum unplanned glorified village Owerri
