Most Exhausting Beaver DAM REMOVAL EVER!
2 METERS of height and 5 meters of width beaver dam was opened. It was the most exhausting and longest beaver dam removal ever. I got invitation from some person from municipality to open this dam.
Enjoy the video;)

The only thing I would consider when you do these dams and where??? If the houses that may be around them don't have local Fire Hydrants, The Fire Dept can use that water to put out fires... And if it is Gone then they have to use Trucked in Water I would suppose???
MAN!!! your beavers must have a masters degree in civil engineering!

It's not very interesting thing to see, not so much changes there.
Over in the U.K. we have started to reintroduce the Eurasian Beaver as a means to stopping flooding. They are introduced upstream on rivers that run through towns and villages in its lower reaches. The Beavers Dams act as a stopcock..

Beavers do not cause flooding, the Weather does that. In fact in the U.K. we are reintroducing the Eurasian Beaver to help alleviate climate change induced flooding. They really are Helpful If ignorant souls.

So much water! And an incredibly strong dam! My arms are tired FOR you! Great job!
Well, it's refreshing to see that those beavers are incredibly good at what they do! With nothing more than sticks and mud they built what looks like a 6-foot damn which was holding back an immense amount of weight. That's impressive!

Not only that, it doesn't take them very long to do it either, post10 is always clearing beaver dams and sets up trail cameras. They build dams up over night. Thet dam probably didn't take them but a few nights to build. Never seen a human built dams middle stay up after the sides failed.
Damn those Beavers built well.
Fascinating animals. 98% of people would fail in the task of building a dam at this point using natural materials and without stones

Wow, that was one tough to open up. The beavers did a good job of building it. It looks like it had been there for some time to, so it had settled some and got even more compacted. Looking forward to seeing part 2.

This dam seemed to be constructed more strongly than the ones you managed to get to roll over. It took more strength to pull out and I bet those beavers kept on reinforcing it!!! But I must admit this video caused more anxiety than any of your others…and yes I’ve watched them all!!! PLEASE BE SAFE🥰😘

We always call it "doing the Lord's work." The interesting part is that those most in need of doing this type of constructive labor are those least likely to do it on their own. Self-esteem comes from performing esteemable acts. Takes me back to the many hours I spent doing trail maintenance, because.
That was both frustrating and entertaining to watch! I will have to give a thumbs up to the beavers on this one.........

A dam that size really needs heavy equipment to remove it completely. When you said that the dam was that close to home my attack would be a single narrow deep cut. That close to home makes it easy to visit the dam often, daily if necessary, to remove the repair. The more you reemove from the front of the dam makes it easier to remove the mud from behind it. see if can find gloves for chemicals or put on a second glove.
@rustyiron

A narrow deep cut makes the water work for you, it washes away what you pull out of the dam and makes it easier to remove the mud behind the dam
