Defender series here: Never once saw this separate. Dropped more than once from a 38 foot ladder, once or twice from 40+ feet. Phone is as pristine as the day I bought it. Granted I assume it hit grass every time. Once in a puddle of mud. Great case, but fuck their belt clips. Use your pocket.

Just bought a rebel case for my iPhone X . I have to say it’s the best phone case I’ve ever used for any phone. So impressive that it’s by a KZread as well. Definitely recommend.
