I was moved by the growth of Rain throughout the movie. They fleshed out his character well, and I just feel like I can empathize, relate even. I too have been hit by a hammer, and burned... both emotionally and physically on my fingers.. accidentally... by myself. I've never ninja'd anybody, but I have exhausted myself for an ungrateful boss, I think we've all been there before. Rain fell outta the sky in the start of the film, and his boss and coworkers wanted to keep him down ever since. I've never been fired in the same way and I don't know about previous inciting incidents, as I'm not in Shao Kahn's Outworld Human Resource Department..There may well have complaints of conduct or behaviour, but speaking as a myself, a man who's claimed only a handful of champion souls for my boss, I think his achievements claiming thousands was something inspirational to aspire to. Maybe Shao Kahn will read this and have a change of heart and fish my boy out of the fire. You can toss him in a new color and call him "Steam" or something. All I'm saying is that I went looking for a ninja character, but what I found was a real ninja person..

There are plenty of shit ass movies that there is no need to sit through because of this channel. Just because they are mostly horror, doesn't mean all the movies are good. This is actually pretty far from being the worst movie on this channel, however this movie is pretty fucking bad

The kill counts for this and the first movie have singlehandedly reinvigorated the love I had for mortal kombat when I was little. Thank you James.

Granted the A.I. in all Mortal Kombat games is effing rigged (it was originally an arcade game so it was naturally designed to bankrupt you lol) but MK9 was particularly obnoxious i will say this though, the mk games haven't bought into this mickey mouse shit where games are super easy these days. every shooting game is basically a joke because you can just run and hide while your health "charges" back up

Come back to these videos every once in a while, and I cannot get over that this movie just throws characters and names into the script without any thought. Like, Mileena shows up for two seconds and they don't even bring up her scary tarkatan teeth, which are easily the most memorable part of her character.

Baraka in the recent MK series was amazing looking. The whole series showed that you could do slightly cartoonish characters in the real world without losing what they actually looked like and of course it was what made the studio create a movie! I cannot wait!!

love this channel and have been an instant fan since I've found it, it's brilliant and there is no other host I'd ever wish to see on this besides you James ! The commentary , the jokes, the knowledge, the editing, it makes for a more interesting time for me than most things I could find on Netflix , etc. Thank you for all your hard work! If I could ask could you please do the other installments of Chucky? I know they're horrible but that's the exact reason I want to see you take it on and I guarantee it'd be more enjoyable than the movies themselves 😂😂😂😂

My friends and I almost got kicked out of a theater during the midnight showing on opening night. Apparently the people behind us were actually enjoying the movie and didn't appreciate our riffing and inappropriate laughter.

I love that Chelsea turns up as Subzero. Such couple goals. Also this film looked awful but James killed it with the jokes. "And they were never seen again"

tbh if you use mental gymnastic you can say that Chelsea was cosplaying as Frost who first appeared in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, in which the character was a female fighter who had similar Cryomancer like abilities as good ol' subbie

Smoke was a character of the mk games In the og timeline, he was a friend of kuai liang and when they found out about the cyber initiative, they run away but smoke is not so lucky and was turned into a cyborg. Also noob found him the storage room of shao and reactivated him so he could become bi han's pawn but in the konquest mode, he was saved by kuai liang in the lin kuei temple and in armageddon, smoke is in the forces of light and he died. While in the NRS timeline, smoke's story is very much similar in the og timelime but he wasnt converted into a cyborg and he later died in sindel's killing spree but was revived by quan chi as his revenant. In mkx, the enenran demon inside smoke somehow controlled his body now.

Been watching Dead Meat for more than 4 years now, and this is still the funniest and most enjoyable Kill Count up to date

Fun fact about Shao Khan in this one. Brian Thomspon also played "Eddie Fiori, the Brujah, one of the vampire antagonists in the tv adaptation of ttrp Vampire the Masquerade, "Kindred: The Embraced".
