Morrissey - Love Is On Its Way Out | Reaction!
Morrissey Friday? Morrissey Friday. This is another more recent track from his 2020 album. What an awful year that was. Anyway, as a pessimist, I really feel these haunting lyrics. You look at the headlines, you see war, you see people hating each other over religion, skin colour, gender identity, sex, nationality, etc. You also see people killing elephants and lions for sport. You start to think about the absence of love in the world.

This song sounds sublime through headphones. It took a while for this one to grow on me. The strong voice on the "But before it goes" parts with the pounding drums etc. Whoa!! ❤

It’s become one of my faves. The lyrics are so simple, but hit so hard .. especially in 2024, it seems more & more true at times

I find it’s a lovely kind of angelic and reassuring piece, an interesting song with a major truth ringing out that seems simple but is profoundly simple really- the rich are spoiling this world so much that love is not fashionable anymore, the Narcissists are running the show now! And yet we must go on somehow and find our way back to love as imperfect as it may be - I love what I think to be quite a fun self mocking ending! And of course Morrissey’s vocals are superb!
The most sonically interesting album he's made in a couple of decades - a shame the COVID lockdown kicked in just after release and killed the promotional tour stone dead. This record never really got the push it deserved, and seemed to drop off everyone's radar pretty instantly.

Good video nick I like this one would say a 6.3/10 one of about half of this album that I enjoy. I am vegetarian too lot of respect for Morrissey's veganism though the few times I have tried being a vegan have not gone well. Guess if I liked salads more than pizza and chocolate it would be easier lol.

This song/album will always remind me of the Covid lockdown. I would go on country drives to get out of the house and play this album
