Honest, authentic, intelligent, unique, can't and won't be bought, controlled or silenced, deeply caring and compassionate, the absolute best lyricist and performer, who can comfort you with his songs even when and because they scream hard truths instead of churning out boring, same old mind numbing garbage that artists get away with. There is great comfort in knowing he truly understands the things in life we all have to endure. A realist with the ability to tell it like it is, at times cutting and raw and at times, poetically and at times, with his quirky and incredibly endearing humour. An articulate, handsome, reserved but powerful gentleman. Mozza, if you're reading this....I just love you 😊❤️

When Morrissey wore that UKIP pin supporting a far-right-wing and fascist political party on late night TV, on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, I felt betrayed. I thought Morrissey was an ethical person until that point. But Morrissey chose to side with the "England for the English" crowd. His 1990s song, "The National Front Disco", suddenly took on a whole new meaning. Being racist, or even being insensitive to other ethnicities, is bad enough. But, as a brown person (especially in the summertime when my skin tone darkens several shades darker), as a brown person, I can tell you that the fascist tendencies are far more problematic than merely being a bigot or a racist. And Morrissey, next to Robert Smith and The Cure, were easily in my top five all-time favorite musical icons. I've seen Morrissey in concert so many times, hung out with opening band Sack at a poolhall after a Morrissey show in Fresno. They were cool, working class blokes. My cousin even invited them out to Denny's afterwards. So, I've been a huge supporter of Morrissey when people hated him for being a 'pompous ass' or whatever. But after the UKIP fascist propaganda on The Jimmy Fallon Show, I stopped listening to all of his music. After that, the only logical response is to boycott all Morrissey music, concerts, music streaming, all of it. We can't support our abusers. And rightists, fascists, anti-immigrant elitists are all abusers. All of the previous warnings, people challenging his character flaws, all the red flags about Morrissey took on a whole new meaning, such as the 1992 Finsbury Park incident with the Union Jack flag and Morrissey featuring two female skinheads as a backdrop. How about the skinhead types featured in the "Sunny" video. Even the ambiguous lyrics of "The National Front Disco" and "Bengali in Platforms", now, didn't seem so ambiguous. I finally had to admit that Morrissey is a white supremacist fascist, who cares more about some phony British nostalgia, which he is selling to uncritical fans, than he cares about human beings, than he cares about the UK providing shelter to immigrants seeking refuge from the economic and political disasters left behind by British and western colonialism and neocolonialism. Morrissey made some comment about England no longer sounding like England anymore because of all of the foreigners or whatever... Artists and poets and musicians, in my humble opinion, are supposed to represent the best of humanity. That's why I loved Morrissey and his lyrics and music. I thought he was brilliant, which includes being humane. But the Trump-like notion of MUGA, making UK great again, or MUWA, making UK white again, is lame... Like Perry Farrell said at Woodstock '94: 'We gotta mix it up! That's how we all love each other.' Unfazed by some boos, he replied: 'Ah! All you purists, you're gonna die off anyway.' Indeed. But some people seem determined to impose segregation and anti-miscegenation laws and fascist authoritarianism because, at the end of the day, that's probably the only way to preserve recessive genetic traits and colonial culture. So, why are you here? (I can hear uncritical Morrissey fans asking...) So, I'm here to give Morrissey a chance to apologize for being a fascist UKIP partisan. I'm here to see if Morrissey will renounce fascism, or if he is still a narcissistic abuser, who gaslights his fawning, uncritical fans. But I scrolled through some comments first. Somebody said 'it's just the same old talk points.' So, I'm not expecting much personal growth from Morrissey. But I'm hoping for some sign of humanity. Damn, Morrissey, too many sycophants have corrupted you. You need critical fans and critical journalists to be honest with you. Okay, Morrissey, let's listen to what you have to say... Lumpen.org

@@philmessina476 Wow that's a lot to digest. I assume you live in the UK so your impression of Trump is swayed by CNN or many of the other democrat social media outlets,Ha,you think everyone on the Right is a Fascist,Racist?Too funny. What's also funny was that Trump was never accused of being Racist until he became President.Hmm.One tidbit for your info, he had his daughter Ivanka and husband Jared run a program to help released inmates get a job, bank account, etc. and not go back to what put them in prison. Social Media won't share that. Does that sound racist? Our Country now is a Mess(US)Inflation was 1.4% when dementia Joe entered Office, hovers around 8% now, highest in 40 yrs.Gas,Food and Everything else Prices have doubled and tripled in price. You ar e totally right! Thick skinned people are going to make the world a better place. No kid gloves those things need to go. No wonder we all like toddlers. I know that if I’m getting offended by something someone said to me it means maybe I needed to hear it and there is something more that I need to figure out. It’s like how will we ever get anything right if we are all so self centered and ignorant. Someone needs to push us past a comfortable bubble we live in and start telling the truth. If people get hurt so be it. It’s not the intention but it’s good to opposition in life. How will we grow otherwise ?

The adults in 🇬🇧 never forget an hero, but we are being treated like kids for saying something bad, the media love to twist & turn stories into their words, because of their egos & money ? The Smiths could of been still going on if they had a singer who believed in being a democratic band, I don't think we ever know the truth about Johnny Marr & Morrissey, because of the nature of Morrissey Gary Numan, who had suffered from depression, also had many years of no records being played over the radio, years of awful reviews on his music, but the last few years been a reality star, still able to make music & keep his loyal fans is delightful Just the same with Debbie Harry, (Blondie), will the 1977 & Blossoms still be making music when they are in their 60s+ 💃🏼🕺
