Hi, in this video I've listed everything I bought whilst out on a 2 night holiday to Marrakech earlier this month. Most of my shopping was done in Mellah; generally speaking items here were cheaper than in the main souk, Jemaa El Fna, however you should ALWAYS bargain and drive down prices further, especially if you buy more than one item from any one shop or stall holder.
Try to resist impulse buying and have a look around, shop owners try to not let you walk out of the shop without making a sale as they know if you walk out, you may not walk back in. I hope the video helps you all decide what you may want to pick up whilst out in Marrakech and gives you some idea of the prices you should be paying. Thanks for watching and happy shopping! :)

~ Royal Tea - 50 MAD (£4)

~ Argan oil spray bottle - 50 MAD (£4)
~ Bukhoor (incense) - 30g for 30 MAD (£2.40)
FROM WHITE CROCKERY SHOP:
~ Narrow floral platter - 20 MAD (£1.60)
~ Wide floral platters - 30 MAD (£2.40) each
~ Flower dish - 8 MAD (0.64 pence)
~ Sectioned flower dish - 45 MAD (£3.60 - £3.70)
~ Round embossed platter - 30 MAD (£2.40)

Such good advice for shopping with a little thought and consideration and to buy from those who are independently selling and have less money and who need money, as apposed to the bigger business businesses.

Real leather sandals for so cheap?! Wow! They also look really nice,I love them!😍 you both so many nice things, I loved all the dishes and those little spoons for spices are such a great idea! 🤗Great haul Afelia! I feel like I need to travel to Morocco just to get some nice things like you did😂

I can only imagine! I loved the souks in Dubai, but man was it expensive there. And you know what, every time I need to take a spoon for my spices I think how cool it would be to have such wooden spoons as you got from Morocco!😍
Love ittttt!!! I love shopping in Morocco, can't wait to go back! Last time I bought rugs, crockery, spices. Next time I want those sandals you have lol

Like the platters, is it melamine sis ?
Sister you got allot of stuff, since you only stayed for couple of days and I loved everything. One question, how did you bring back everything since I'm guessing it was just two of you that went, and how did u pack the platters so they didn't brake?

1980sbk Thank you......we asked the shop keeper we bought the crockery from to wrap the dishes for us (he didn't use bubble wrap but some soft plastic wrap) he then taped 2 - 3 dishes together and we put them like that inside a padded rucksack and placed the rucksack with extra clothes inside one of our hand trolleys. We kept this hand trolley with us at all times since we didn't have any other suitcases or luggage. Depending on what airline you travel with you may only be allowed one piece of hand luggage (each person) so make sure you don't over fill it or end up with too many bags. 😊 xx

Alhamdullilah sister enjoyed your vid throughout the way. You have good taste in jewelry and nice ideas for kitchen items Really inspirational. If only i could see the rest of the name frames.
