    Thanks for the video. Really helps to see them being handled. Quick question.. do handles get really hot? Do you have to have a dish towel or oven glove on hand to handle them while on the hob?

MashaAllah ThabarakAllah what a great job you do in these videos, very informative( I've watched the or creuset including one too). Your kitchen is so beautiful ThabarakAllah, you've managed to create a beautiful kitchen that fits your functional requirements too so nicely. Well done. I don't have Instagram & not really on other Social media so not sure sure if you have more content there? Definitely enjoyed watching your video today. I recently moved out of my in laws and doing our first Eid in our new home this year, my father in law absolutely LOVES handesh and really wanted to make some for him this year. This worked sooo well, I know handesh can be so tricky to get right but they puffed so nicely. JazakAllah for your efforts and the time you spend to make these videos! ❤

    HOW TO FOLD A SAMOSA Sharing how I fold my everyday samosas in real time with you all - it can be difficult to understand how to do this when it's sped up so I hope this video helps you if you still struggle to fold samosas. I use either flour and water mixed together or egg to seal my samosas. They're time consuming but oh so worth it! 😋🙌🏽 #afeliaskitchen #samosa #samosalover #howto #recipeideas

    OLIVE & FETA SIDE DISH You will need: • 1/2 cup green olives • 1/2 cup black olives • 1/2 tsp dried mint • 1/2 tsp pul biber (Turkish chilli flakes, these are smokey in flavour, not really spicy, you may use chilli flakes if you want heat) • generous glug of extra virgin olive oil, use enough to coat all the olives • 1 finely chppped garlic clove • small piece of feta cheese • chopped parsley/coriander to garnish (optional) Method: 1. Combine the green + black olives, dried mint, pul biber (or chilli flakes), olive oil and chopped garlic. Mix together, add more oil/herbs/spice to adjust to your taste. 2. Crumble the feta over the top and add some chopped parsley/coriander before serving. Enjoy! Top tip - make this ahead of time and leave the olives to marinate in the ingredients, the longer you leave this the better the olives taste. Add the crumbled feta and garnish just before serving.

    Funny, I bought them today before I have seen your Video. Got a special offer and paid only 425 £ . My other potts and pans are from Mauviel but this time I preferred Le Creuset. Best regards from Germany!

    That's a great price and I'm pretty sure you'll find cooking in these pans amazing, I've had mine over a year now and I love them! The best product to keep them clean is the Barkeeper's Friend Stain Remover (it's a powder), gets all stains and grease off easily without scratching the pans. Happy cooking.

    WHITE SAUCE CHICKEN & MUSHROOM PASTA • 700g chicken breasts/boneless thighs cut into strips/cubed • 400g wholewheat spaghetti pasta • 350g mushrooms, sliced • 1 large onion, diced • 7 cloves of garlic, sliced • 1 tbsp oil • 3 rounded tbsp butter • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste) • 4 tbsp plain flour • 1 tbsp mixed herbs • 220g mature cheddar, grated • 2 cups of milk • 4 tbsp double cream OR use creme fraiche/sour cream • cooked pasta water (as needed) • spring onions (optional) Method: 1. Boil pasta in salted water (add about 1 tsp salt to water) following instructions on the packet. 2.Heat oil + butter in a pan, once hot add the onion, garlic and salt, cook for 5 mins until translucent. 3. Next add plain flour, cook for 2 - 3 mins to remove floury taste. Add the sliced chicken and cook until no longer pink - I used thighs which take a little longer to cook because we prefer them, but chicken breasts work and cook quicker too. 4. Add mixed herbs + sliced mushrooms, saute till mushrooms soften. Add cooked pasta, grated cheddar, milk + double cream, cook until everything in the pan has melted and is silky. If the pan seems dry, add some cooked pasta water to loosen the sauce. 5. Finally garnish with spring onions and enjoy!

    Hi, thank you for your video. How do these saucepans perform and look since you bought them? I'm thinking of buying a set but would welcome your feedback.

  • @AfeliasKitchen
    @AfeliasKitchen Жыл бұрын

    The pans themselves are really great and I've no doubt they will last me a very long time. Unlike the cast iron casserole pans Le Creuset are famous for, these saucepans are much more 'user friendly', I find them lightweight to use, great to cook food in (nothing sticks/burns easily) and they wash up really well. I wash them using a Marigold non scratch scourer, washing up liquid and Barkeeper's Friend Stain Remover (it's like a powder) and they come up like new. I've been using my pans for over a year now and they're still in tip top shape. The Le Creuset pans are pricey but if like me you're sick of constantly buying and throwing out pans, I would highly recommend them. Also check out Stellar 1000 5 piece casserole set (I own this set too) and they're just as good, only con is the sides to the Stellar pans are a little thinner so things can sometimes get burnt on the sides. Hope this helps you out.

  • @AfeliasKitchen
    @AfeliasKitchen Жыл бұрын

    Hi, they're holding up really well, I use them daily for my cooking and have invested in more pans from the range as I like them so much. I've gone on to buy a few more frying pans and saute pans, all are really well made and will last a lifetime. The best way to clean them is using washing up liquid and Barkeeper's Friend Stain Remover (it's like a powder) with a non scratch scourer, that keeps them shiny and scratch free. If you can afford the range I would recommend them but also look into Steller Kitchen 1000 casserole saucepans too, equally as well made but almost half the price of this set. Happy shopping :)

    Hi Afelia, Jzk for sharing this. Can I use a scourer for a cast iron griddle pan when cleaning it after each use? Everywhere online says to use a non-abrasive sponge?
