MOROCCO HAUL | HOW MUCH I PAID AND TIPS!!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Here is what I got in Morocco and exactly how much I paid! The information online about prices can be very general. So I'm showing exactly what I got and telling you exactly what I paid. Marrakech is a shoppers paradise and I am a shopper!! I’m a lover of handmade, unique items and that’s exactly what I brought back from Morocco. I wanted to make a video that actually listed prices because during my research before the trip I found it really frustrating that often people who made sizable purchases didn’t say how much they paid. It’s all about the negotiation in Morocco and the sellers are tough! I’m not sure if we got good prices or not so please let me know your experiences in the comments because I definitely want to visit Morocco again and fall in love with more treasures. If you missed the Morocco vlog it's linked below!

The prices are insanely expensive for Morocco. They take advantage of tourists like no tomorrow. I remember when I was in Marrakech I haggled and got way better deals than what was asked just by walking away from the shop after hearing the price and that was the time the shop owner ran after me and changed the price to more than half and I still was not satisfied until I settled with my own offer. You should go to Turkey, you’ll live the shopping experience and cheaper prices even without haggling

How is turkey cheaper or safer with all the scam going around there ? You get scammed by Taxi drivers, in Hotels etc.. I have been there and Morocco felt way safer...

Love the video. Thx for sharing. I think fair price is more important, during international travels, than a good deal. $6 for anything handmade is a steal...Plus they are beautiful. All the pieces are gorgeous.

You absolutely overpaid for everything. I go to Morocco almost every year from 2003-2019. Everyone gets ripped their first visit. If you have the opportunity to meet any of the Moroccan Women and go shopping with them. They will demand you get the correct price and you give them a small tip. So worth it.

Hi, happy holiday, I just watched your video, I enjoyed it so much! I stumbled across your video because for Christmas I got a leather pocketbook from my husband from Morocco, and the leather bag is beautiful, but I couldn't understand why it had such a bad smell, so I am airing it out now. I read the reviews from the site and everyone basically said the bags are beautiful, but they have a weird smell. I looked up the leather tanneries and it explains it all. Your information was so good. I would love to hear more about the place. We are big travelers also.

The culture of Morocco and many third world countries is “bargaining”. The more vulnerable you look the high the asking price, I enjoyed seeing what you bought and know that you love each one for their looks and the story behind them. But please don’t brag about your “good deals” The won.

No, we are going the 21th of November. I have seen many travel blogs and vlogs about marrakech. And in Holland you have a lot of morrocan people. They often travel to their coutry and also come home with te goods from Morocco and pay less. Especially home goods. I'm not saying that the prices what you paid are not worthy ofcours. We are not Moroccan so maybe we will pay the same prices what you payed. Hopelfully you would like that i let know after we visit Morocco. Jade

I think your tiles are expensive, I won't pay more than $20 for all of them, definitely not $35!! Edit again: your next item expensive too....$85 for bag and the applicator!! Item 3: necklace, $80....No! Item 4: 3 pairs of Shoes for $60: maybe ok price. Item5: 2 scarves for $24 are ok. Item 6: prints $25 too expensive. Item 7: Butterflies art $10 expensive too: (I don't think he waited the butterflies to die first before he use it for his art!) Item 8: facial oil, $36 both expensive!! Item 9: pottery $100... a little bit expensive Item 10: prickly pear oil, $40 expensive Item 11: saffron $20 expensive Item 12: saffron balm $8 expensive Item 13: I hope not to find Made in China sticker on any of your products!! 😅 GREAT video, really enjoyed that!!
