@@grld9466 nope.. squeaks are the whistle glide that she does at the initial of the note (HHwag Hwag Hwag ka namang lumayo), middle of the note (and keep you safe .ANNNNND sound) for her RUN TO YOU performance in ASAP, last part of her note (like in trophy) vocal break could be a vocal cry, and vocal cry could be either the switch from chest to head as well as chest to whistle. No madness intended.

Completely agree. It's a shame that she is not as internationally known (outside of Asia) compared to a number of better known US/UK singers with far esser ability. It is a mystery to me why no megastudio has ever signed her up.

Hi. Thank you for appreciating Morissette's talent. She's really huge huge here in the Philippines and has a big following. She performed this song almost 5 years ago and had done numerous covers like Secret Love Song, Rise Up, Stone Cold etc. Her claim to fame is Akin Ka Na Lang, a Tagalog, Filipino song with English sub titles and generated a huge viewership. Fast forward, in case you're interested she just shared the stage with David Foster here in Manila a few weeks ago. Morissette performed this song, Never Enough and Whitney Houston songs, The Bodyguard Medley. It was a memorable David Foster and Friends concert.

She said that she creates that by going up to whistle note for a split second then quickly breaking out of it or something like that.

I have alwyas thought Mori sings "may" because Loren Allred did so in the original. That sharp pitch sound is Morissette's signature as most people call it Squeaks. She must did a 6 day concert with David Foster in Manila few wks ago. She sings Never Enough and The Body Guard medley which David asked her to do. It's called David Foster and Friends in Manila. If you chk it out because there were many nights choose where Morissette is wearing Black Gown for Never Enough and Pink Gown for Body Guard medley.
