Merlin should be KILLED!! I have never watched this show and just checking out Morgana's character. What right does he have in killing her? People are always grey. She isn't a serial killer.

@@ChristinaTaft Watch "morgana what i have become" or watch the show, merlin did not want to kill her but in the end it was surely the right thing to do, although you can always discuss about the term right in this context, is it right to kill someone who is about to kill and sacrifice many others... Taking a life to save many, i would not want to make this decision and Merlin surely didnt want to either, he always had compassion for her.

It's incredibly sad to realize that all of it is Uther's fault. That's a "great" ability to change purely good heart into such a dark soul. She was consumed by herself. By her own hatred. The hatred that he created. I will always be sorry for her. This is perfect tribute, I absolutely love it!

She thought she was completely alone and yet she had a close friend who understood exactly what she was going through, even more than she did. But he never told her.

MY BABY SHE DESERVED SO MUCH BETTER 😭😭😭

i don't think she choose to use her magic for evil, here's why: When we first meet Morgana she is kind, compassionate, and loyal to those she called friends. Morgana has persistently been strongly opposed to Uther's ruthlessness towards magic and protests his decisions because she beliefs magic is an inherent quality rather than an choice. We first see her upset at the execution of the man guilty only of using magic. She tells Uther of her sympathy for the devastated mother and her abhorrence for all of the lives lost in the Great Purge to accomplish Uther's goal of wiping out magic showing her compassion. Uther bans Arthur from finding an antidote for the poison Merlin took she convinces Arthur to go against his father to save the life of a servant, in her words, "Sometimes you've got to do what you think is right and damn the consequences." Morgana immediately confronts Sophia with a threat of not hurting Arthur because she would find Sophia no matter how long it takes when she dreams of Arthur drowning showing her loyalty to him. When Uther wants to throw Gaius aside for a younger court physician she stands up for him. She saves Mordred's life risking her life for a boy she just met showing her kindness. She goes with Merlin to save his village Ealdor even though it seems hopeless. When Gwen's father gets arrested she shows nothing but support and kindness for her maid even telling Uther if he executes Tom she will never forgive him. When it is realized Tom was doomed from the start she helps him escape unfortunately leading to his death. She tells Uther "only a madman hears the truth as treason" (a sad thing is that something she said describing Uther, ruthless, cold-hearted, and mad with power is later a description of her) to which Uther throws her in the dungeons. After spending the night in a cell her bitterness evolves into hatred and Morgana goes on Gwen's behalf to talk to Tauren a sworn enemy of Camelot. She plots with Tauren to put an end to Uther but at the last minute after Uther talks of what a great man her father was and apologizes for killing Tom she stops the assassination. Morgana always had magic and the only person who knew was Gaius who kept it a secret to shield her from Uther which I understand but sooner or later her power would manifest itself in more ways than just dreams and drugging her which never actually seemed to do anything was not the answer. Her magic first started coming alive when she was scared because i think she did know about herself subconsciously. Gaius should have told her rather than her figuring it out herself and being so scared of her guardian finding out and sentencing her to death that when merlin offers her another option she takes it. She finally feels at peace and accepted with the druids but once again that's shattered when the man who healed her is killed, i'm not saying that is arthur's fault because he was only trying to save someone he thought had been kidnapped but she has to go back with her growing powers to a kingdom that executes sorcerers, harmful or not. Morgause makes quite an impression on Morgana from the start and leaves her with a healing bracelet to help her sleep, something that no doubt helps her trust Morgause. Mordred returns with Alvarr another sorcerer to see Morgana who agrees to their request of stealing a powerful crystal in the vaults. Morgana opens up to Alvarr telling him, "I don't want to be brave. I just want to be myself. I don't want to be alone anymore." It's clear all she wants is acceptance, she has no one in Camelot. When Alvarr is sentenced to death, she realizes Uther will never change his ways and she hates what he has become which she tells to Morgause. Morgause puts Morgana under a spell that’s kind of a reverse Sleeping Beauty deal; everyone in Camelot comes down with a sickness that puts them to sleep, except Morgana. Even though Morgana agreed to help bring down Uther, Morgause cast a spell on her without her consent and she seemed lost and horrified by how everything was going on. Merlin's decision to poison Morgana. He was exhausted, out of options, and had been told to do so by the dragon, but the act has far-reaching consequences. I think Gaius had a lot of opportunities to help Morgana and it is partly his fault. Gaius tells Merlin that he didn’t really have a choice about poisoning Morganna but maybe Morgana wouldn’t be turning to dark magic if someone had been supportive of her the way Gaius was all, "whatever-she-got-what-she-deserved" and said she choose to use her magic for evil pissed me off. If he hadn't spent the first few seasons lying to her about her abilities and making her think she was crazy and that no one cared maybe it wouldn't have happened. I feel this is where Morgana's character turns completely. In this episode she shows she thinks of merlin as a friend and care about Arthur. But after this episode and being with Morgause for a year, she becomes completely different when we next see her. Morgause could have used magic to gain Morgana's full allegiance. I'm not saying that Morgana is not evil and mad but i'm saying she didn't start out that way and it wasn't a conscious choice to just be evil. Sorry this is way too long.

My sister and I were discussing this. We said it's understandable why she hated Uther and then Merlin (for poisoning her) But completely turning on Arthur, Gwen and the knights? We were like, what did they do to make her hate them so much except love her? Well, when Arthur says, " I thought we were friends," and she's says " me too." That got me thinking! I think Morgause used the Mandrake root or some kind of spell to mess with Morgana's mind and highten her hatred and fear! Stockholm syndrome anyone? Morgana does the SAME thing to Gwen in the tower with the Mandrake roots! She makes Gwen feel as though everyone abandoned her, and that she can't believe in them. Morgana acts kind and loving so Gwen will trust and "love" her. Stockholm syndrome. AND then at the end of season 5 episode 6 where you see Gwen has "turned to Morgana's side" She says almost the SAME EXACT THING to Morgana that Morgana said to Morgause in season 3 episode 1 at the end! STOCKHOLM SYNDROME!

i cried at the loss of a compassionate, kind, loyal, beautiful woman who turned victim to neglect (her magic) and fear (because she had no idea what was going on with her).

I love this, i love this.. You did justice to her character. She was loved and she was hated, and her character was absolutely stunning and Katie made awesome job with her!:) I will never forget this show, so many years, and it still brings so many feelings:) thanks for making this :)

This was so beautifully done, I always hated what they did to Morgana's character, she was so strong and so brave and fought for justice and what was right while Arthur and Merlin were still acting like spoiled children, yet had the nerve to cast her as the villain when they decided to play hero. She was either betrayed or abandoned by everyone close to her, Merlin in particular. He promised her friendship and understanding but slapped her hand away anytime she reached out for it. Was it really that surprising when she went to Morgause, the only person who offered unconditional love and acceptance. After so many years of abuse she did what she had to do to survive, she hardened herself to all the compassion she once felt. She was such an amazing character and after all she went through they couldn't even give her a decent ending, Merlin killing her? Again? Ok I realize this has become a rant but this gorgeous video brought up a lot of feelings lol. Damn Merlin writers

The legend and myths regarding Merlin depicft Morgana (Morgan Le Fay) as a villain, so the writers were always going to put her up for that role. Nonetheless, having her whisked away by Morgause and come back a completely different person was cheap writing.

@@ChristinaTaft oh honey, no. Morgana murdered a lot of people. Merlin only ever did what was right. He tried to save her but she was past the point of saving. Morgana was a victim too, of Uther's hate. But she was wrong in trying to kill Arthur; who only ever loved her. Merlin was always right, Morgana and Uther were in the wrong. But Morgana did deserve better. Also, you're wrong in wanting Merlin to die, he did nothing wrong. Morgana was past saving, she was too far gone, she had to die.

She looked so relieved yet so empty after Merlin killed her 🥺... I think she was actually kinda happy that her suffering finally had an end 🤧... because honestly she suffered most (all) of her life [my poor baby] 💔 she was so broken, yet was broken over and over again...

God she was so innocent! From the beginning of Merlin she was one of my favorites! It was her hate and anger toward the pendragon line that destroyed and changed her. I still love the relationship she had with Merlin from the beginning!

I feel like you told her story very well with this video, we can see all of the "stages" she's been through in the show which is not something we usually find (in depth) in Morgana-centric videos! Also, this song fits perfectly with Morgana. "it comes and goes" In season 1,her feelings for Uther constantly change. She becomes good friends with Merlin. Little Mordred comes and goes three times. Then Merlin poisons her, and for me, that's when the Morgana I liked so much really died. When she comes back, she hates Arthur and Gwen and Uther fully. At the end of S3 e1, she seemed to consider what Merlin was saying, then she turned on him. After so many years, Mordred comes back and brings happiness back into her life, then he leaves her again. With Mordred in the last season, she constantly changes every time he shows up

Morgana was truly a good person just turned in the wrong direction by magic. She deserved so much more than she had and my god she was my queen either way.

Gosh. This is stunning. Truly, your editing is absolutely beautiful, and so moving. I am so touched, I can't explain how incredible this is. I love this. Thank you for sharing this masterpiece.

Okay so, I feel bad that my previous comment was so short. This was the most awesome Morgana video I have seen yet. The way the different quotes fit in with the lyrics and the visual is just perfect. Morgana is such an amazing person and it's so sad what happens to her. The one thing I could've wished for in this video is a bit more of Mordred. Other than that, it was amazing and I really love watching it.

I will always think that Morgana is better than Merlin. Sure her magic was uncontrolled for a bit, but still, that means that there is more magic unseen in Morgana than people have thought. She has used what she had to survive in the conditions she was in, instead of laying down and surrendering.

wat pisses me off is dat no 1 ever knew Merlin has magic...he should av told Morgana...Morgana always feel ensured when he is especially with Merlin..I felt Merlin abandoned her....In d series,Merlin and Morgana used a friend..Morgana opened up to Merlin but Merlin never opened up to her and I think that's unfair... and onetin,Merlin and Morgana should av had a tin together on set..there are so many scenes where they could av had it...

She is lovely,so kind,I love her friendship with Gwen.But the end she tried to kill Gwen,and why she become so evil🥺.

why are people defending her so much she used to be a kind person and I understood her motive at first but her killing innocent people and her friends or wanting to kill Arthur? I mean she was literally no better than Uther at that point

it was all merlin's fault; if he would have treated Morgana right by being truthful, and admitting to her that he had magic, she would have not steered that way. Both of them could have worked together in harmony. But merlin was too ignorant and afraid to help. Of course, I can't blame him all the way, most of it came from the dragon.

Almost every character in this show created the villain Morgana. They all had a chance to make her the hero and destroyed her instead because she is a woman. I cant believe they did that. This show comes off very sexist.
