Me and alcohol. I'm a recovering addict. Sober for a year and half. I was gonna drink today but I heard this song and related it to me and alcohol 🍸. This song saved my sobriety today. Thanks Morgan! ❤

Sorry To hear that
Just ended a 6 year relationship this morning and even in all my anger I still apologized to her for me wanting to love her as much as I did. On my way to work later this song came up and I completely fell apart. She made me suffer and I never owed her a single sorry, but I always felt obligated to apologize so that I could keep the relationship I desperately wanted to continue. My heart and soul are both completely shattered, but this song definitely is going to help me heal as I find a way to move forward. Thank you Morgan.

@@BearHawks I would like to answer that if I must? How would you know if the right soulmate is there and you don't know if she might think the same way as you because sometimes a person pretends to be something that there not. That's what happened to my ex-wife. Since 2012 I was divorce and my good friend from another continental location have help me,The issue is she's being in a relationship that's a bad boy and doesn't see the light in good people like me because good people are hard to find. Then I lost a nice friend that would be a companion to talk to but never responded my calls, stood me up and found out no matter how passionate patient I was, I heard on the local news that she was killed by a crosswalk that scared me for life and I ask myself that I didn't do nothing wrong but I did everything right to be supportive.

Same situation, I'm trying to get out of. I'm 27 trying to work with multiple health issues, schizophrenia, going back to get my hs diploma, then off to college for nursing. 5 years of domestic violence. He wouldn't let me work until recently, or go back to school which I've wanted to do for years. Even being in the hospital 2 weeks after a car wreck he didn't come see me once.

Wasting on You might just be the best song on this incredible album; maybe even better than the two previously released #1s, which is saying a lot. But even if time doesn't bear out "wasted on you" as the best song on this album; this version shown here is the best performance he has ever done for a viewing audience in MW history. All the music news this morning is about Taylor Swift tying Michael Jackson's four consecutive week record, but come on everyone, the Mullet Man is what the world should be talking about today after this video dropped.

Protect this guy at all cost. I’m heavy on hip pop but you can’t resist this guy….he is just a blessing to the music world.
Been sober 8 years. I was a dedicated alcoholic, the kind that doesn’t miss a day or need an excuse to have a drink. Worked a high stress job, had a messed up personal life plus my body was physically a mess. Could drink a bottle of Vodka a day plus whatever else got thrown my way. Then one day I met a girl, a very special girl. Things were going good, I was able to hide my drinking from her. Then one day it happened, I got super super messed up. I mean messed about 5 minutes from landing in jail. Called her up told Her which alley I was in, that’s all I remember. I woke up the next day in my bed. Butt naked all washed up but with a hangover from hell. She came in looked at me and said Ive done this once before and won’t do it again. This is your one chance. I love you but it happens again….I’m gone…..long story short I decided I could not risk losing her. Went cold Turkey never looked back, been happily married 5 years now. My wife saved my life and it was the easiest decision I’ve ever made. Stay strong brother, it’s a beautiful world out there with tons of people who love you.😬👍

Back listening this song, and still friking hurts, makes me mad and sad at the same time. It really sucks to love a person who doesn't love you back, or at least that's what it looks like. I don't regret putting miles on a vehicle, praying for that person, or doing anything I did for him, what I do regret is not listening to my heart when it was telling me not to put my eyes on him. Now I've wasted almost two years waiting for him to make a decision about us, to give himself a chance to love and to be loved, but after trying everything, I have made the decision to step away and pretend like "nothing" happened. Like I never met him before. 😔 It will be hard, but I think God's plan for me is different, is something else, is a test for me to learn something out of this, not sure what it is yet, but damn it hurt to figure it out 😔

I don't know how it's even possible, but country music can make me kinda nostalgic for a world I've never been and never seen. It calms down and gives a feeling of infinity of time as if our life is not so short at all. It gives me meaning and desire to keep living through this difficult time
When this song comes on in the car, I put the windows down and blast it. I want the whole universe to hear it, and don't feel one damn bit of shame or embarrassment for it.

[Lyrics] I don't always wake up in the mornin' Pour myself a strong one Ah, but when I get lonely I do Your memory gets burnin' Lean back on the bourbon Sure as hell can't keep leanin' on you Looks like I'm learnin' the hard way again It's all my fault Yeah, I dropped the ball You're gone and I'm gone three sheets to the wind Thinking 'bout all I've wasted on you All of this time and all of this money All of these sorries I don't owe you honey All of these miles on this Chevy, and prayers in a pew All them days I spent wasted on you Wasted on you Yeah, I swore this one'd be different My heart wouldn't listen to my head and these boots on my feet Looks like I'm learning the hard way again That's why I've been Wasted on you All of this time, and all of this money All of these sorries I don't owe you, honey All of these miles on this Chevy and prayers in a pew All them days I spent wasted on you Wasted on you Like this pile of your stuff that's packed up in the back Right down to the flame of this match Wasted on you Wasted on you Wasted on you Wasted on you Wasted on you All of this time, and all of this money All of these sorries I don't owe you, honey All of these miles on this Chevy and prayers in a pew All them days I spent wasted on you Wasted on you Wasted on you Wasted on you

This song is my life. 18 years of marriage to a woman who loved me but she couldn’t ever forgive or forget the small things over the years.. even though I did that for her. She pulled away from me and her 17 year old son and just left one morning. She is cold and I don’t recognize her at all. I didn’t see it coming. There was much more good precious things in our life worth fighting for but she couldn’t see them. I die inside every day and after 2 months it’s not easier. I’ve said everything I could think of but it falls on deaf ears.Today is our 18th year anniversary and she wouldn’t even see me. I drive a Chevy killing myself to make everything and she never worked. I was happy to provide all her needs and wants. All my prayers for her over all these years didn’t seem to change anything. I’m afraid of that day coming where I let her go.. but not today. God help me with this empty aching heart dying inside me.

@@matthewdarr3112 Hi. Thanks for caring enough to ask. It’s just as hard but not as often in the best ways I can explain it. This last weekend I had a memory come back to me that dropped me to my knees and the weeping now makes me very sick. I actually dread the physical and emotional after effects that crying now causes me. The dreams torment me. I’m trying to be happy for my son.. in fact Sundays have now become Sondays. I was sick most of the day yesterday from one small moment Saturday evening.. so today on memorial day we are going to go out and eat and go bowling. I guess another way to summarize… is I love her with all my heart.. more than ever before. That’s a helpless feeling and I refuse to replace it with hate and resentment. Even this text brought a couple tears to my eye.. so I will end with this. The Almighty Father is carrying me and blessing me and my son.. and I trust in him to guide and keep us. This world is not my home… I’m just passing through. My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue. I’m home sick. “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain” Yahuah bless you and your family.

This is one of the most powerful songs I have heard in years. Headed toward 60 next year, And at this point can no longer understand what happen to this world. May God be with me toward my end of life days.
Had this song stuck in my head for a day. Tried to look it up. Thought the lyrics were "waiting on you" and it was a love ballad. A few hours later (hundreds of country songs have 'waiting on you' in them) and I have realized my mistake which means I didn't waste that time at all unless I repeat it. I hope this helps someone.
