Thank you! I like making them for the most part, though I know there's always room for improvement on my part.
This is my first time to your channel. My name is Lynne also. I was born in Augusta but left at 6 months old. I live in San Antonio, Texas. I will pray for some rain for you when I am praying for it for me also.

Welcome!! My mom and stepdad lived in Abliene for many years, so I've been to the great state of Texas! I hope we both get some rain, I won't lie!!
I do crochet topper but I use a tapestry needle and blanket stitch across middle of towel then crochet the top.

@JudithSanders-py2of that's definitely a great way to do it. I don't think I'll go back to trying to make holes and crochet into them. I'm loving the clean look of the way of the chain stitch. I imagine yours amd mine produce that same clean line.
Use color, catchers and warm water with cold rinse and a hot dryer. Sometimes I will use the entire box but if they’re only like four bucks.

The purple and pink I purchased from www.madeinamericayarns.com/product-category/fiber/cotton/
You said that you love the peaches and cream cones. I get them mixed up between peaches and cream and whatever they’re calling them now. Do you find that the cones are rough with the peaches and cream? I struggle working with it because there’s no silkiness it’s very rough dries out your hands, Doesn’t stretch. But I’m trying to learn because I want to make a large Mandela to go on my wall. Have you tried the large cones of dishy?

Well I'm using Sugar n Cream, but they both are made by the same company. Peaches n Cream is sold to Walmart. I don't find it too rough or drying most of the time. My hands do get dry at times, so I just lotion up. I've seen dishy on websites but never tried it as it's not sold locally. Is it good?

@@Daybreakcraftyhomestead I haven’t tried the dishy yet but I am on a Mandela doily kick and I’ve tried the Walmart mainstays cotton yarn, which is surprisingly amazing! I like I love this cotton also but I always wash my stuff and warm water regular cycle and a bunch of color catchers so I’ve not had any bleeding even red against white. You have to try that new mainstays cotton yarn. It comes in some really lovely spa like colors now too. But I hate the fuzzy edges on that. I love this cotton and the Walmart yarn but as long as I don’t wash it, it’s beautiful.
