Just got mine, for my S5IIX and first impressions are incredible…When it was delivered and the driver handed me the box (which also had a Sigma EF to L mount adaptor in) I genuinely wondered whether the dealer had left something out of the box…It is INSANELY light!…Just found your channel BTW, Dunna…Liked and subscribed.

I love your videos, Very helpful! I am wondering if you can make a video or maybe even direct me to another video on how to export HDR footage from Davinci Resolve with either Dobly vision or HDR10+ that is supported for youtube. Personally I am grading on the newest Macbook pro.

HDR is still something I need to get more into! I haven't done my due diligence with it yet!

Very cool lens design. If I didn't have the Sigma 105 DGDN macro already I might be interested, especially considering the size which is very appealing. However, I'll stick with the Sigma. As you pointed out it occasionally gets a little clumsy in focusing, but when it hits, it HITS, splendidly!

In the macro world I feel like the big competitor to this lightweight portable macro lens is is Olympus, who is currently dominating the macro niche. This sounds like a very strong challenger!

Two different sensor sizes and neither lens can't be used on the other camera....Not really competitor

@@LumixGang "in the macro world" is the key here. People who shoot macro primarily are looking at whole systems, including available lens options, within the macro capability, not that someone is going to put an Olympus lens on a Lumix camera. People who are macro specialists are often shooting in field conditions where total weight is incredibly important, and as Lumix has built in focus stacking, Lumix + this lens is an option people should look into.

Maybe not a direct competitor but definitely still worthy of being part of the conversation! Same could be said of the ones I mentioned in the video. 2 of them aren't available for the L mount but they're still worth mentioning.

Prolly gotta sell my laowa macro and get this instead :D much more versatile

So I got one and idk man…it has been struggling to focus badly and breathing a lot. Idk if it’s defective maybe…mine has something on the inside that you can clearly hear moving around if you turn upside down and back. Is this normal?

I don't have this lens, but hope this can help: have you change the focus limiter? macro lens typically struggle as you use the full range, have no idea about the sound, maybe you can write to Panasonic? hope all good.
