I remember when I was homeless and trying to get off drugs I would watch comedy whenever I had cell service because my life was so dark and sad. I wish all those years ago I had known about your ministry. Jesus found me and took me out of the tent I was living in and set me free and gave me a brand new life. He is still my everything 9 years later 🙌🏼❤️ Thank you for inspiring hope and life through laughter! God delights in you!

Hi there Christa!! Praise His Holy name!! Am so glad that God set you free too! So proud of you and for all your hard work!! God set me free in 2010 and I placed my faith in Jesus in August 2014. I know how hard that is to do and i don't meet many others with this much clean time. So proud of you!! God bless you and best wishes to you and yours!!

Michael Jr. came to a homeless shelter, I was living at in Dallas, 11 years ago. He came at a time when I thought nothing was funny. He made me laugh and gave me the gas to push through my valley. Here it is 11 years later. I now have an 4 bdrm, 2 Bath, home. Still finding time to laugh which keeps my tank on full.

This is the internet I envisioned! I sat here and read a lot of the comments to see how we were showing up and I saw the most positive, beautiful comments. Ultimately, there were so many, I couldn't get through all of them but all of this positivity is a reflection of this beautiful man. i just want to tell you, MIchael Jr., that I got to see you perform during the darkest time of my life when i was staying at the dream center and i was suicidal over some bad decisions. When I look back at that moment I got to see you at Joyce Meyer's church in Phoenix it was a moment of pure joy and hope and relief in the most painful sleepless tormented time I have ever been through. Your set made me feel the love of God. Thank you so much!

I have a very best friend - we're both nearer to 70 yrs and have known one another since we were 15 yrs, in high school but we laugh from the guts like there's no tomorrow. I couldn't imagine my life without this laughter and when with other peers 😐 No laughter from them and I'm dying to say, "What's wrong with you??!!" I have to tell friends, lighten up, put that negative energy away from you instead of nit-picking and nya nya nya, turn it around and LAUGH. And they look at me. Now, one is constantly, "Lizz, put that negative energy away from you!", with hand gestures, no less🤣 Laugh about the idiosyncrasies and bumps in the night, unwelcome surprises and myriads of "things". Life will be so much better!! My friend and i have to stop laughing because we have to pee so badly! And just adding, as the cannabis laws have lightened up and no one gets arrested for a joint anymore, we go down to the docks, the NYC Skyline, smoke, laugh, music blaring - life is what you make it! And then it's - wait. I can't get out of the car....🤣🤣🤣 God bless you AND LAUGH!!

I needed this today! After losing my job and not getting any interviews, I was starting to lose hope, but watching this and seeing how Michael changed his life was inspiring, and how he can take his disability and make a beautiful life. I watched Michael over the years and love that he can create good, clean comedy that is genuinely hilarious. Bravo, Michael, for being a light in the dark.

I was so touched when you went out with John in his side by side and went to areas where most people would not walk much less live. It’s heart-rending to see people in these situations and finding it only takes a little to touch these hearts. When you’re God sent, you know when you leave them, The Holy Spirit stays behind to re-enforce the love and comfort God has given to them thru you.❤️

Never heard of Michael Jr prior to this special. Bruh you had me in stitches. A comedian that is hilarious and don't swear is a breath of fresh air! Keep up the awesome work and God bless you!!

It's amazing when you can tell someone loves Jesus before they ever even mention God. I noticed during the intro that he had a different kind of personality and I was like "he a brother in Christ, ain't he?"😂

Two questions: 1. Why you converted? I mean, like, what inspired you at this age (you can write comments, you're probably an adult), was you religeous before? 2. What's "clean comedy"? 3. (Because why not?) Did you get African American Barrel joke? I don't even know how to google it. I know barrels are what oil is measured in, I know oil is black, and black = af. am. Or maybe "black barrel" means something? I'm russian, this is really hard for me to understand.

This was so refreshing and such a blessing. Definitely what comedy should be about.

I feel totally different and cannot explain how.....just different. It's not the hilarity of your jokes, interaction with the entire audience, or quick wit ---all that was greatly needed and appreciated. I think my feeling and tears shed come from empathy for others in pain or need. It has taken my focus off of myself. I continue to remind myself --- "It could always be worse." I will always continue to do for others. "I wanted to cry because I had no shoes... until I saw a man who had no feet."

if the comedy is clean and you laughed you know the comedian got it , well done sir .

You are such an inspiration love your comedy and your heart for Jesus and people! Laughing is so good so heartfelt also you are unique and needed.
