Rick was a lot more drunk in season 1. It’s probably just down to changes in writing but I’d like to believe it’s also character development and he’s stopped abusing substances as badly as his family takes a more central role

justin roiland also used to get blackout drunk before recording sessions & he slowly stopped drinking so much so that could be why also lol, most of this show's S1 conversations were nearly all improv as justin was basically talking to himself drunk.

I'm sure someone has said it already, but the authentic lightsabers from SW actually have a safety feature that switches the blade off when not in a hand, Force uses actually have to use the force to keep the blade switched on.... Sorry, I felt like saying it.

If you actually read it what they said is that a lightsaber has a safety feature that turns it off should it leave the hand but force users can use the force to keep it active when they throw it. Try actually reading the comment before you embarrass yourself.

Some force users in legends actually wanted to style so much that they had sabers without a button, you had to use the force to close the circuit. Of course this is a major handicap when fighting other force users, but if you make one of these, you're probably full enough of yourself to think that just adds challenge.

...how was the battlestar one actually Battlestar? Sure, killer robots, but they looked nothing like a Cylon

the "cloud Atlas" clip also had a reference to Tony Danza and Michael Jackson. The borg and Unity thing, i just realized that "borg" race is called "Beta-7" as in "Beta Males" . it was a commentary on how Rick has that toxic Alpha Male mentality and the Betas were there on the side, second place to Rick in Unity's mind. meanwhile, i'm not even sure Rick sees Unity as the entity that it is. Unity might not even be "female". if Unity reproduces by assimilating the males and females of other races, then Unity itself might be genderless. Unity just chose to represent itself with a female because it knew that Rick prefers females. Rick was being intimate with unity by being intimate with members of the race Unity had just assimilated and it makes sense for Rick to do that since rick himself is not a hive mind, but i'm observing that rick was only being intimate with the "hottest" memers of the assimilated race. he handpicked the ones he wanted to "be" with. the sexiest females with the largest 80085, but then there were also males in there too. . which i suspect Rick is pansexual, which is why he's able to connect with all sorts of alien species. also since he's On The Spectrum that could also explain how he connects better with other species than his own. . Rick and Birdperson obviously had . . something.

@@ulemuphiri8489 he's the literal definition of pansexual, because he will lay with any gender, any species. he literally had sex with an entire planet. he usually goes for females, but he went with birdperson and birdperson is male or at least he seems "male". birdperson got with tammy for a while and she is a human female or maybe not. she looks like a human but she is with the gromflamites, and insects often do mimicry, mimicking other species, so she could be some sort of human insect hybrid for all we know, but birdperson was with tammy and birdperson was with rick
