I think Jerry's problem is that he is incredibly complacent. In another dimension he was apparently an awarded actor who did cocaine with Johnny Depp. In Cronenberg world or Prime Earth, he became the sole survivor of the human race and was able to live a content life. In Doofus Rick's world, he became one of the most menacing people in the series. The only dimensions he sucks in are the ones where he is least semi content with his life. He doesn't feel the need to achieve anything and kind of gives up on himself. Every other life that he hates, he is just *that guy* .

That’s the sad thing about Jerry: he has so much potential, and because of comfortability he never feels the need to grow as a person. And I think that’s why people dislike Jerry so much, they’re just like him, people who feel battered and bruised and never had the chance to reach their full potential.

In the episode where they observe their alternate selves Jerry is doing pretty well when they didn't conceive Summer but since Beth still existed he eventually cracked and threw away his Hollywood career to go back to her. In a reality where Beth never existed he would just stay on that path of success. It adds a bit of irony to how both Beth and Rick have claimed that Jerry was holding Beth back.

@@torvus249 He was killed off while Rick Prime considered him to be nothing more than a joke. At his Prime, Jerry was still not even a threat to Rick. Shot while his own question was being answered, and he wasn't even being spoken to. Rick was talking to himself as he killed Prime Jerry.

@@DamienDarkside he did sort of impress Rick, with his 'fatality'. It _was_ badass, and like prime said, he really arched out (so jerry became much more than he anticipated). As far as Ricks go, that's a big compliment.

I really like Jerry. He's the only one who acts like a normal person would.

Jerry is actually probably one fo the few men who beth could actually stand to be with. Any other guy and she'd probably either end up resenting them for doing something better than her or would be constantly arguing. Jerry clearly understands beth and how important her intelligence is for her.

Yeah, even at his most powerful, he's still zero threat to Rick. Rick Prime didn't even flinch, mocked Jerry, laughed Jerry off, and killed him in the middle of answering Jerry's question to himself. Jerry was mocked, humiliated, and completely disrespected while being killed off without an actual thought. Rick Prime probably forgot about him three seconds later, while actually thinking about the Other Ricks.

The title is wrong. These are the most Jerry moments. This Jerry is a amazing guy

Jerry was born 3000 years too late. He's terrible in a civilized society, but in a violent wilderness he's king.

Jerry has the potential to be great when he wants to be. That's always been the truth of his character.

That Ernest Hemingway joke went over my head, then I finally looked it up. He is a writer who accidentally blew out his head while cleaning his shotgun. Understanding this, I enjoyed the joke a bit more.

As long as Rick wasn't around, Jerry can always spread his wing, look at Jerry Prime, he's the closest one to ever kill Rick Prime. Otherwise if Jerry thinks Rick is on his side, he would just defer to Rick. And in all the other dimension (episode where Rick invent VR Google so they're able to look at their other universe self), Jerry without Beth always become famous person, and that's make sense as Rick wasn't around to belittle him. But again, without Beth, Jerry will eventually break. So to be able to live to the fullest he need to have Beth, and Rick belittle him constantly, and then get Rick out of his life somehow. I really cannot wait what Jerry 5126 have in season 7, as he's by far the character with most progression so far.

Actually that is Prime Jerry (from Rick Prime's World) Rick C-137 Morty Prime(/Cronenberg) Beth & Summer (3rd World) Jerry (3rd World Jerry was accidently traded with another World' Jerry and no one noticed!) And they all live in the 4th World (I think -> 3rd was accidently destroyed by original 3rd World's Jerry -> the cute world infector)

Dang Beth is a good surgeon. Normally an animal would need weeks of rest after a surgery but Beth made it to where the deer could just wake up and hop out of the hospital bed. I'd expect nothing less from Rick's daughter.
