I love these! 💓 I don't like things super glossy either but I found that another way to knock the gloss back is to dab it lightly with a folded up piece of paper towel while it's still wet. The advantage of the gloss medium is that it makes tissue paper really transparent when you collage it on top of another element.

Thank you for checking out my video! Isn’t it funny how we hold these things so dear, as if we couldn’t just make something similar to use again? But I do the same thing. I will have these bits and pieces of things that I deem as perfect, and so they just sit there, and never get used.🤣🤣

I was so taken with the colorful layered background I completely forgot about the birds. Wow. What a beautiful combination of elements. And so many tips! Glad I found you. By the way, what is a D Ring for hanging? Does it look like a soda can tab?

Thank you so much for your kind words! Yes, the D ring looks similar to a soda can tab. It is just a piece of metal that looks like the letter D, and on the straight part, there is another metal tab coming out with a hole in it. The hole is meant to have a screw screwed into it to attach it to the piece for hanging!

Beautiful this bird series .. If you could also add a list of papers and some of the other paints, pens and supplies you use it would also be great..

Hi! All of the papers were handmade by me. If you are interested in seeing that, I do have a few videos on making collage papers! I will add a materials list in future videos, though. Great idea!☺️

I am racking my brain trying to remember where I got that stencil! 🤣🤣🤣 I assumed it would’ve been Amazon, but I just looked through all of my past orders, and it’s not on there. I was ordering some things off of Temu for a while, but I also looked at those past orders, and it didn’t come from there… Possibly Michael’s or Dollar Tree. If I figure it out, I will definitely message you back!

If I can ever figure out where I got the stencils, I will definitely let you know, lol! 🤣🤣🤣 I did look on Amazon, and they do sell stencil packs similar, so I’m thinking it must’ve been Amazon, though I’m looking in my order history and it just isn’t there. I will, for sure let you know, though, if I can figure this mystery out! ☺️
