I never thought Kai without the crest as a mistake. Just thought he switched out his hood for when hes gonna be the human piñata. As for the Rebooted gloves, no mistake. They just didnt put on the gloves until later

I mean they do make up for the mistakes in the end with giving us awesome seasons

6:45 could be considered an error because Zane’s hand does clip into his arm but I do agree that the stretched animation is done on purpose to give the characters a more fluid and exaggerated movement

There’s couple of mistakes in season 8 episode “Big trouble, little Ninjago”. Lloyd appears to have green eyes in the scene he woke up from one angle (wrong) and from another he doesn’t (right). Also when he went out with Nya in that same episode his eyes were green but they shouldn’t be because he was powerless.

I also noticed that. At first I thought that it was him having black eyes that was the mistake but layer I realised him having green eyes was the mistake. Thank goodness I'm not the only one that noticed this. I expected him to cover this in the video since it was really obvious

3:23 actually there are 3 errors, Wu in DotD has a golden rice hat, while in this shot he's wearing a tan rice hat

The amount of Ninjago mistakes is hilarious.

The most memorable mistake for me was in Pirates vs Ninja, where Jay speaks in Cole’s voice when telling Dareth that they dealt with the Great Devourer. This is technically an animation error since audio is recorded first so animation can be made around it with matching lip flaps. The script probably read for Cole to speak, but animation was set up so Jay was in the front of the group instead of Cole, leading to Jay saying the line since he was the focus of the camera.

That also happened in the first season when Kai was talking in Cole’s voice

7:23 not only Jay has an uni brown but the citizens have no arms

kai's hood wasn't a mistake, hes just going to a birthday party why woulld he need the extra armour? Plus his hood is like that for every scene where hes at his job

another mistake is when the ninja get the elemental blades and new outfits at the temple of light in season 2 all the ninja stand on the wrong symbols for example cole stands of jays symbol

This. This has always bugged me and it actually dropped my enjoyment of the scene a little bit

Cole was missing his shoulder pads when the ninja are walking to the cliffs of hysteria and trying to cheer up Okino. It's similar to what happened to your example for Nya and is easy to notice.

General Cryptor in the Day of the Departed was not wearing his armor for more than one or two scenes in the movie! That is actually insane! He’s the general! So he should look at bit more tougher than a regular Nindroid soldier.

Who agrees with me on this one?… we should’ve found out who Morro’s father was since he was the elemental master of wind along with his ancestor

The Neuro one about his hair being messed up could just be explained by Neuro getting older. I mean, Hunted and ToE are really far apart in the ninjago timeline

For the kai zx one i always thought that he did that so he didnt damage the gold crown on his hood at the birthday party

There are a couple of times when ninjago make the same mistake with Pixal's shoulder armour, she will be wearing them one minute then will have them off the next. It happens A LOT during the newer seasons. She is my favourite character and I cant believe the creators did her dirty like this.

I didn't think Kai missing his armor was a mistake. I always figured that, since he wasn't actually doing any fighting, he just didn't put the armor on

It isn’t a mistake because the rest of the ninja also had no armor.

There Are More Ninjago Mistakes Like Of Example A Couple Of Times In The Show The Characters Have The Wrong Voices

in the episode corridor of elders, all the ninja and elemental masters are gathered in the samurai x cave and we see jacob the master of sound there. Jacob was still supposed to be on chens island.

@@skylord1846 He was fed to Clouse's serpent after trying to escape the factory. During the credits scene of "Day of the Dragon", Jacob says something, revealing that he's still alive. However, since the serpent is dead, he's stuck inside its stomach with no way out.

Oh yeah, that mistake always bothered me.

What WOULD the Anacondrai symbol be? Constrictai are Strength, Venomari are Venom, Hypnobrai are hypnosis, and Fangpyre are bites. Anacondrai are like a combination of all, though invisibility could be one so I guess nothing being there could reference that? All of these are hilarious and head scratching.

4:44 why would Kai need to wear armor and a crest at a kids party?

Another mistake: at the end of S8E3 Cole is seen with the other ninja when he was supposed to be held captive by ultra violet

There is an animation mistake with pixal weakening up and her shoulder pads appearing for a shot but disappears for the next

1:40 Pythor looks mad that the Fangpyre has his staff.

5:05 I always thought that Kai used the new suit but dropped the armour because it wasn't needed.

If I had a nickel for every time jay's eyebrows were weirdly offset, I would have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Yeah, like in Season 4, Episode 1 (The Invitation), when the ninja show up to the dock wearing their past suits. When everyone stares at them, Kai takes off his hood and says, "I told you we shouldn't have worn them!", but Jays voice come out instead. Kai says something right after this, so the line was probably meant for Jay, but they put the wrong ninja in the animation.

Like in wrong place wrong time when jay said “I missed beating these guys up” there’s a cole voice. Im assuming it was a cole line but then they made a mistake in animation because it sounds a lot like a cole thing to say

5:02 I pretty sure Kai did not have the gold on his mask because he was going to a kids party and the metallic gold could accidentally harm them (also why he did not have his shoulder armor)

Not to mention the amount of voices given to the wrong ninja

In 7:36 you can see that Jay’s nunchucks like the little dots are purple and not blue

In sons of garmadon episode 77, when Lloyd got tagged to the wall by Zane's shurikens, Kai, Jay and Nya come to rescue lloyd and chase Mr.E. Cole was with the ninja as well when he should have been captured.

1:35 Pythor also has a blue sleeve. I don't remember if that was intentional or not bc I'm too lazy to check rn 5:51 also I think that they don't have their gloves bc they were in their teacher uniforms before

Hey didn’t anyone notice in the last episode of season 3 when the ninja come back from space and enter earth jays elemental ball was fire or Kai’s elemental ball , when they were entering their vehicle which pixal brought them

I don't think Kai wore the armor and the golden crest because he's at a kid's birthday party. I thought that was the reason then again, the ZX printing had ninja stars on his belt but for the context of the episode, I've always thought that was on purpose.

The return of the *Ninjago Animation Mistakes* series!

In the French version, there's a lot of time where for instance in season 5 last episode, where nya tells her plan on the giant spahgetti, jay says "we gotta listen to her" or something but it's Cole's voice so yeah

I must say.. the ninja having yellow hands in rebooted worked nice actually

In Sons of Garmadon episode 3 “The Oni and the Dragon”, towards the end, Cole is captured by the gang however, he is animated with the rest of the ninja, seemingly in two places at once

Since Episode 199-176 from Season 11-14 in Wildbrain Studios to Ninjago Series, Zane Julien never turned to Human while He was just still the Ice Ninja. But this is what I wanted to have his human form back until the next years new film and the season for Skylor in 2022-2023 so soon!

In the one where the fangpyre general was holding the anacondai staff pythor had a aqua arm

I think the no crest one with Kai is intentional as it shows up whenever he’s doing his job

In the episodes 'Ninjaball Run' and 'The Last Hope' there are also two costume errors! (Kai wearing the Original Suit instead of ZX in Ninjaball Run, and Lloyd wearing ZX instead of the Season 2 Dark Island one)

In S2 ep 10 when they run in the drill Zane has his elemental kimono while everyone else is in their ZX form

Theres several big ones that stand out to me that you didnt mention. The one thats always bothered me the most is in rebooted, both lloyd and nya get their stone armor suits SEVERAL episodes early and it isn't even just a couple frames. No no, they keep them for the entirety of the last few episodes

Yeah, I remember that. Lloyd's suit randomly changes from techno to stone armor at the beginning of Codename: Arcturus when he splits his golden power among the ninja, and it's literally never addressed. I don't mind, since I think the stone armor looks incredible, and all the other ninja only wear it for the latter half of one episode, but I agree, it is odd.

Man. I thought I had a real eye for animation errors. Yet I don't think any of these are ones that I noticed.

Also in Hands of Time in the episode Line in the Sand, as Jay is rescuing the other ninja when the camera switches to the other ninja you can see Cole dressed as Jay

I always thought the one about Kai's hood was intentional for some reason.

when the ninja go in the arcade in season 1 to look for lloyd if you see zanes reflection it has no eyebrows

In rebooted when they are on the part of the rocket that is going to break off the timer goes from 5:00 to 4:49 to 5:54

It it wasn't for these vids I would never have found these mistakes. This just proves no matter what animation mistakes are made, it doesn't effect the viewer watching.

Cole didn't god damn die when the ship sunk in season 6 HE TOUCHED THE WATER he legit washed up on shore.

I would love to see Part 3 of awful Ninjago animation mistakes.

kai's hoodie without a crest for the zx outfit looks like somekind of knockoff kai. lol

there is one where kai is in his original uniform, but then turns back into his legacy of the green ninja uniform (ninjaball run)

i don't think 5:07 is an error as kai might have taken it off somehow to prevent the kids getting hurt

I'm pretty sure Kai's hood from season 2 wasn't a mistake i always though it was because he was an entertainer for kids so he took off his armour

There 's also a mistake in season 5 ep 2 in Wu flashbacks, when Morro was with the weapons of spinjitzu, you can see that the sword of fire is weird.. ☠️

4:15, it is called the airjitzu robes

What if in season 16, Kai blames Jay for Nya leaving, then they both fight each other like in Captain America Civil War. Maybe in order to defeat the Vengestone buyer, Kai, Jay and Skylor look for a way to stop the buyer. When they find the things that could stop the Vengestone buyer, Kai and Jay fight each other because they are still both mad at each other. But then realise that they both had nothing to do with Nya leaving and end up forgiving each other. Just a theory.

Dang I didnt even realize the Nero one was a mistake. I just though he was going for a new look

Then there is that one scene from season 11 where Pixal wakes up from the nigtmear and first she ist wearing the shoulder pads then the appear for a second when she gets up and then in the next shot they are not there anymore? I think this is one of the most noticable animation errors

Theres an error where in one shot zane has the shurikins of ice, even though samuki is meant to have them

With the Kia one I always thought that Kia just took off the amour for the kids party

They kinda look better with no gloves.

One mistake I can remember is that in seabound, nya doesn't have a headband hairpiece while in the seabound sets, nya had a hairpiece with a dark blue headband.

They've had some mistakes with the voices like when they time travelled

At the end, Garmadon is doing the art of the silent fist. The sword is going to swing itself without his fist

The Fangpyre is probably just holding it for Pythor (maybe)

You missed one in rebooted lloyed outfit change when they got the armor and that bugged me

U forgot the fact the the og Kai design minifigure looks nothing like his minifigure, the minifigure got scratches on the face while the show does not

I don't remember exactly but in the finale of s11 when everyone was saying goodbye something looked odd about kitaro

I found one i found one! In hunted when kai tries to release the air dragon he casually fixes his ninja costume before switching back to his torn one 😂😂😂

There’s two mistakes when pythor is collecting all of the staffs he has a blue arm

in the last mistake you showed us there was two mistakes 1. the hand 2. jays nunchucks were a bit purple

There’s actually a mistake in Ninja ball run episode where in one shot Kai is wearing he Og outfit from the pilot and then next shot he has he’s normal outfit

Deepstone robes are my favorit and also the kimono

In the Jay Sky bound one the guy beside him has no arms

There was a animation mistake in season 9 episode 4 “how to build a dragon” when kai is freeing the captured dragons he appears in his season 8 outfit

In Season 4, episode 3, the one in which Cole and Jay have to fight each other, there are also other duels. Lloyd and sensei Garmadon watch them all, in particular the one between Neuro and Bolobo. When father and son discuss about Nature and Mind, there's Kai behind them. But Kai is supposed to fight against Ash. The fights are all at the same time, as Lloyd supports Kai and watches the other fights. Or maybe it was a not great film editig and all the duels don't happen all at the same time, so Kai can watch the other ones before his one.

In hunted when kai was freeing the wind dragon his gi switched between sons of garmadon instead of the hunted gi

Oh yea samukai was using a axe instead of his four blades and when jay was on his lightning bike jay was was behind Nya

I have a question, why sincer season 11, the show is simply called Ninjago, instead of Lego Ninjago Masters of Spinjitzu?

IMO, Ninjago feels like a mini series with 11 minutes and Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu feels like the full show with like 20 or 22 mins

Some of animation errors and mistakes are funny and some are just weird but it still is funny 😂

I don’t think the one with Kai’s mask is a mistake. I think he just put on a mask without the gold crest for the party or maybe because it’s probably a sharp material and there will be kids around, but so is his whole suit so I don’t know

I don't think Kai not wearing the crest thingy is a mistake, it can easily be explained with in-universe logic and also because it's like that for the whole scene, unlike most errors, which only last for a split second
