Mordhau Spear Gameplay - A Match and a Half of Poking and Joking

Today's Mordhau Spear gameplay video has me playing almost two rounds with my big, golden Spear. I originally designed this soldier for use when Crossroads was more open and horses far stronger than they are now.
Back then, my Anti-Horse build was a Mordhau Spear class that had light armor, throwables and some perks. This was so early on in Mordhau's life that the Butcher (extra damage to horses) perk had not been added to the game.
Recently, since Crossroads has essentially faded from popular rotation, I've felt the need to whip out an anti-horse class on a few sections of maps like Grad, Mountain Peak and Camp. But that presented another challenge, because my anti-horseman build was purely for fighting against horses using speed and mobility of low armor build to reposition and attempt to outmaneuver the speedy horses.
So, I slapped a bit more armor on the old fella and took away his throwables in the process to make up for the needed points. So now, I have a soldier capable of dealing with horses, and with a quick grip swap, can hold his own against infantry too!

Playing with spear in mordhau is from another level of fun especially with the alternate grip and one of my favorite weapons in the game along with the LONGSWORD

@@EpicBrewHe means stab chamber. You cant bring your weapon up fast enough to stab chamber a riposted stab and i think this counts for all weapons.

owkay i got one for you, Here is a Hybrid build for you, Messer + Recurve Bow + Bandage, idk i just randomize the perks. You should try it
Ive been having a blast with mordhau on console. Arming sword is my favorite weapon for sure. The spear isnt a weapon id pick intentionally, but every time i pick it up off the ground, i do so well with it 😂
What's the benefit of the alt grip? Also where did they put detailed stats for weapons? Like how well they versus each tier of armor? I stopped before the apparent UI overhaul.

To find weapon stats you have to pull up the Customize weapon view, like you're going to change the visual style of the weapon, and it's in the bottom right of that view....for some asinine reason. The alt grip has shorter reach, faster speed, deals more slash damage, the same stab damage, and there's less of a stamina penalty for missing an attack, than the default grip.

If only it were this populated on console…
