Mordhau Gameplay - Heavy Handaxe Build, Extra-Long Battle

Today's Mordhau gameplay video features my Heavy Handaxe Build, Haxe.
This is one of my oldest builds, I believe I debuted it during "Axe Week" way back in 2020 when I decided to spend a week using nothing but axes. If you're looking for a real throwback, search "Axe Week" on the channel. I'm proud to say I've come a long way since then!
In Mordhau the Heavy Handaxe is a brutal weapon that's great for two-hitting most enemies, the downside is the weapon's short range and slow speed for a one hander. The Falchion, for example, is only 5cm longer, but 100ms faster for windup and recovery. This downside can be taken advantage of a bit but using morphs to bait out panic parries. You'll see me do plenty of morphs in today's video.
One component of the Heavy Handaxe that I think gets overlooked a lot is that its stab attacks are just as lethal as its swings. You wouldn't expect that from an axe (you see how many stabs it takes to drop an enemy in my ranked duel videos). But in Mordhau the Heavy Handaxe stab attacks are the same HTK as its slashes!

Gotta be the heavy hand axe ngl it's good strike and stab damage, can repair and has some amazing skins particularly the one Mr Brew is using.
I really want to like this game....I paid the 50 bucks to get it on ps5 and the combat just feels bad to me, my attacks seems to go straight through people and how do you handle being ganked by more then one person when u block for half a second at a time? Any tips or advice would be great as I been a subscriber since day one. I absolutely destroy in chivalry and can handle ganks without issue but this game I just die over and over lol which makes me sad cuz I love the graphics and customization etc the combat just feels bad.

The combat isn’t as forgiving and casual as Chiv is. You have to think about attack direction and positioning constantly. You can parry (block) endlessly, just have to time it right. I don’t play Mordhau on consoles for a reason, too. It’s a game designed for mouse and keyboard.
Next build idea: tank & dwarf perks, weapon- warhammer+ 6 point shield( idk what it’s called) if u want+ rocks javelins or throwing axes( I use rocks), armor- whatever u want just make him look like a mythical dwarf, I like to call this build “Rock and stone”
