Mordhau Scimitar Gameplay - Full Match, Chill Commentary

Today's Mordhau gameplay video features a new build for the Scimitar. I'm calling this build Scimitar Sue because I realized I only have a few lady knights and I should have more.
My original Scimitar build, which I still have, is a more armor-focused build, but I wanted to play around with the Scimitar in Mordhau while a bit lighter on my feet. So I tossed the helmet and dropped down to tier 2 leg armor, grabbed a bunch of perks and here I am.
It's always weird playing without a throwable in my pocket, and honestly challenging for me to always hold onto my sole weapon when I know that it, too, can be thrown. Such is the life of my knights in Mordhau.
In Mordhau the Scimitar is one of the fastest one-handed swords you can get. The Scimitar beats the Messer in every speed category, and is only slightly slower than the Rapier, on average. But, the Scimitar beats the Rapier damage-wise for swing attacks (not for stabs though). Oddly, the Scimitar is slightly faster than the Rapier in comboing and releasing stab attacks.

What's funny is a leaf blower started outside at the same time you mentioned your pressure washer.
mordoo is a game, a video game precisely. It's fun because you fight ppl with swords and geeturs. My favrite build is my mini maul man. He's very hunky yet smol but can kill ppl quickly. THIS GAME IS AWESOME SAUCE MAN!!!!

Novius is a fiend, he kills every man women or memer in his sight. I swear I must have just missed you since I was playing in that lobby with those players the last few days.
I've always wondered why Tom doesn't throw mauls...
1:49 You dont get any points for destroying ballistas, killing horses, breaking catapults, etc. The points it shows are actually just there to tell you the damage you have done. You only get points from damaging players or doing the objective.

After watching you for quite a while, I am finally starting to get the hang of chambering! :) Thanks for the fun lessons. Btw, what really helped me was to change my settings so that the attack directions are not inverted. They were by default.

The attack directions shouldn't be inverted by default. That's really strange. So when the arrow points up it wasn't an underhand?

@@EpicBrew I think it doesn't change where the arrow points. It's a bit hard to describe like this, but basically I had to push my mouse foreward to make the arrow point down. And that made it very hard to catch chambers. Maybe that wasn't even the default but I don't remember having changed those settings before.

Chivalry 2 looks and sounds better, but that's all it has going for it. Mordhau is the better game to play.

@@9rave969 no really, that's the general opinion too. Enjoy what you like, but from a technical point of view, Mordhau has better mechanics. Chiv is easier to play, that's why people tend to gravitate toward it for a more casual experience, but Mordhau has a higher skill ceiling by a mile.
