It is kind of hard. I wish they had big landing legs for heavier loads Or if ur lazy and don't want to land softly

This game made me realize how hard space travel actually is.. Everytime I dock, land, or do something and it fails, I just reload my saves but in reality, every fail will cost millions of dollars and may lose human lives so the planning must be so flawless that failure is not an option..

Hey SFS! Congratulations on developing SFS for PC! I've been there since the beginning and I somehow feel proud of what you guys accomplished. Good job! I'm so happy!

I did this myself without a tutorial but I kept just missing the moon, eventually I got there after a couple of tries, and after crashing into the moon at hypersonic speeds multiple times, I ended up eventually doing the same things, back when I was a bit younger, by 3 or 4 years, I used to play this game and I didn't understand a single thing, I'd just crash back to Earth or shoot into an orbit around the sun. Glad to see how I've honed my knowledge since then

I wish we had something to do once we got there. Study stuff, collect samples, plant a flag, start a colony/research station... anything really. This game is fantastic though. The dev put in some real work. I'm getting better at it and once I can confidently go from the erf (my planet) to the moon and back then I definitely wouldnt mind paying for the full game. This dev deserves the support.

imagine attempting this for 100 times and the last one was succesfull until a random satellite you launched before hit it and your rocket got destroyed

I started playing some 3-4 years ago, with this program version shown here. Enjoyed it thoroughly. I had this version of the game back then, can tell it clearly. I bought an extension package soon after I got some level of expertise. Then there was some interruption, and I upgraded a tablet in the meantime. Installed the game again recently and found that it is a new version, and it does not show a transfer window the way it used to, like here at 1:15. The old way I found more convenient. But more frustratingly, whenever I choose a specific target to fly to, and then accelerate the time, the game will often freeze dead at or near the point of transfer. That was never the case before. Not sure whether it's to do with a new game version, or with my new tablet, or both. I stopped using an aided transfer suggestion by the game, and am learning how to transfer in a manual mode (appears not too difficult). At least the game does not freeze for me. Would appreciate if you can provide a link to the location where I can place the above description as my feedback.

For anyone struggling with fuel issues, I recommend part clipping. Its really easy, Just Place a fuel tank then place another fuel tank in the exact location where you placed your other fuel tank. You can do this with any part, wether its a engine, a fuel tank a parachute etc Very very useful, a must for getting to other planets

Or you could use docking ports to create multi launch rockets. I think this approach is more fun and let’s you feel like you did it legit. You definitely need to watch the docking tutorial first though

I know that I'm 3 months late, but 3 months isn't too much of a long time. No, technically clipping isn't needed at all. I was introduced to the game without clipping, and it's so much more fun without it. Sure, everyone can play as they like, but clipping does make the game too easy, which makes people end up being bad at building noclip rockets.

I never knew how to get to the moon in the last 3 years and a half, like I could've watched other videos but this is the most understanding that gave me 3 successful moon missions

This teaches a lot of people that it takes a long time to figure the areo dynamics and difficulty to show how hard it was to get on the moon.

This was very helpful I had trouble myself figuring out how to land on the moon and I didn’t realize that I was doing it wrong and you pinpointed the points that really will help me the most and I never knew this I watched other KZread videos that did the same thing but they did not point out the things you pointed out and that really helped me Got confused when other KZread videos that explain this got me really confused because I didn’t understand what they were doing I’m a visual kind a guy but not 100% visual that means I have to have some explaining, explaining what I’m supposed to do because I can’t just watch it and know what I’m supposed to do because I’m used To People explaining it then showing me at all at the same time.

I do that two now that made two of my failed missions one is orbiting the asteroides belt and gets close to the sun once in a while and the other is close to mars

I am glad I watched this as I have built a couple of prototypes to have a lot of fuel but still make it and go in a straight line to the moon as I knew about the orbit but I just didn’t know how to get control of it

This game made me realise how do you almost give up almost quit almost lost but no matter how hard it is you just need to don't give up until you made it up

I managed to create an impact probe that landed on the moon. I’m getting closer.

Do the dotted line,have your orbit the same as the dotted line

Me : Goes straight to the moon Also my rocket : Goes out of the target and burst into Jupiter

Finally clicked to watch this tutorial when all my previous attempts fails 😂. My rocket looked a lot different than this one though, this one is very sophisticated, don't know yet how to make it 😂, hope my first attempt will be successful.. 😂. It made me realise rocket launching is not easy at all and that, you can't Simply go to the moon directly, it takes precise orbital movement 😂❤️🌌✨.

I did this successfully today for the first time. Returned to earth safely too!

Could you make it where you don't pass through objects when you speed up time? Same thing happens when you are looking at the map.
