Tip : Once you're in orbit of Earth make a quick save since if crash on Mars or Something bad happens you don't need to go to orbit again, just load the Quicksave

Try using all fuel instead of leaving descent stages down with fuel that can return it from earth

YOO tysm , this is the best tutorial I've ever seen, but i did somethings wrong so i had less fuel when going back to earth so i entered Atmosphere at very High speeds, and to my luck i got 1 encounter with the moon and 2 with photos :D

You need 14 parachutes for slowing down on Mars and just 1 for the probe on Earth.

I attached a link to the blueprint of the rocket so it's easier to build

I entered Mars but not your way because the rocket was pretty uncontrollable plus Mars atmosphere is smaller than Earth's so I restarted a lot from my quicksave

I did in different way With 6 wide ones with fairing within fairing and spectators,

I enter Mars’s atmosphere at 1000m/s I think that’s to fast💀 Edit: I already made it to mars BTW after completely redesigning my rocket.

Yeah, since Mars's atmosphere is very thin it doesn't slow you down quickly. So you have to enter it at least at 500m/s, not more.

or just use the good old method by the engine, make sure to be lucky to have fuel or maybe r.i.p your rocket when it enters 500 m/s or above

there's no need for the complicated heat shield just add another stage to burn before atmospheric entry and you might not have to deal with atmospheric burns

Can't really add another stage, the rocket is already at max height. The heat shield is more compact and simple imo

I do the same but every time on reentry, my craft keeps tilting uncontrollably and I get burned

It means you are going to fast. Try doing some aerobrake (basically you enter the atmosphere just barely so that you get captured by the planet). And then you should be slow enough.

I follow all the steps of the video but always end up slamming into mars at 400m/a regardless if I use parachutes or not, I don’t understand

Try using engines instead and slow down during re-entry

So for the parachutes on the sides I can’t clip them

I have a part clipping tutorial maybe it can help you. If not just double the parachutes attaching them to side of one another. It's not super aerodynamic but it should work.

You have to put to objects in the same spot or just overlap them then you select the two overlapping parts and move them then they will just clip into each other, if you can’t put an object on top another object put a bigger object next to one object and you should be able to put the other object on top, if you still can’t just bp edit.

Boooo the sec i start trying to orbit its super slow like wth and when was in the transfer window i was on the fourth stage like tell me wjat im soing wrong pls btw i also got no dlcs no cheats or anything just using the normal categorys and the normal stuff nvm im dumb and didnt make it big enough

When I wanted to return from Mars and i was setting my destination, i was not able to close to earth more than 40000 km

You just got very unlucky and ran out of fuel. Try again using just a tiny bit less fuel and you should be able to do it.

Doesn't work. I made the rocket. Did the orbit. Got the exact position you had for Mars. My fuel goes out to quickly and the transfer is always moving. I made a full orbit 6 times to get transfer. Once I got it I just ran out of fuel

You just got an orbit inefficiently. Try again burning very close to your apoapsys but never overcoming it. You can check my orbit tutorial.

The game crashing is not something I can try to help you with. For the fuel you have to burn very close to the apoapsys but never overcoming it. And the transfer window moves that's normal.

Try watching my orbit tutorial. Basically you have to burn very close to your apoapsys (the highest point of your trajectory) but never overcome it. After a few tries it becomes easier to get in orbit without wasting a lot of fuel.

Try again, and again, and again. And after you fail for the 1000th time guess what? You try again. It's impossible that you waste all the fuel at 30km. Are you sure you are not launching you rocket upside down?? Because otherwise there's no way you can't even pass the Karman line with that rocket

There isn't a lot of stuff going on honestly. KZread has a playing speed mechanic so you can slow down the video if you find it too fast.

Or you can go my way Ya know, poorly designing a non-modular lander and Mars Transfer stage

KZread has a built in speed control if you find the video too fast. It's normal if you can't reach Mars in the first but trust after a while it's easier.

There are two heat shields under the rocket to prevent it from burning. Maybe you forgot to put those?

You know that some people want a challenge and using cheat doesn't make you good at the game right?

And i complete all the achievements but i still have two more is 31 achievement complete but this stupid game keep resetting everything if i go to jupiter's atmosphere that's really backfired i hate that game so much because they forgot to fix the game because it keep resetting if i complete the two achievements bruh you don't have the DlC i have the dlc 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 i keep using the cheats to help me save me and i use the infinite building area poor guys you don't have the DlC ok back to the accident if i complete the two achievements it will going to reset the name is go to jupiter's atmosphere and reentered jupiter's atmosphere max temperature

🥲-Took off nearly 10 times for mars Failed evrytime 11th time I got encounter for mars then I realized I didn't had a heat sheild 🥲🥲🥲 not even a single part of my rocket reached mars .🙃 My disappointment is immuserable and my day is ruined.🙃🙃
