@@ewthmatth With my experience there seems to be no aerodynamics or correct drag in SFS.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a mobile game as great as this one. Nor have I ever seen a phone game give tutorials like this. One of my favorite games.

Stef, thank you for being one of the best app developers i've seen. You know your way around Unity, you release updates filled with new releases very quickly, and you are very connected with your fanbase, wether it is on discord, KZread, Reddit, etc. Keep up the good work! Why do I find this to be tremendously cute and awesome at the same time?

You know what I'd like? Sandbox style parts with infinite fuel, zero weight, high thrust, etc. Basically overpowered stuff to test out doing stuff like this without the stress of saving fuel

Hey can you make something like if you doc at a space station it transfer fuel to the rocket or the rocket transfers fuel to the space station. I love the new update

How do you make the orbit a perfect circle? A usually end up with an oval. Two different ovals that don't line up. Edit: Thanks for the upvotes. I know how to do it now. Post here if you want me to explain.

Because it take more effort to master the orbital maneuveuring. The simplest way is to fire the engine at the apoapsis to raise the periapsis to the desired height. But practicing thrust management, thrust vectoring for pitching and a quick hand to cut off the engine at the right moments is needed and I highly recommend it. RCS might be a good choice to correct the orbit. Orbital eccentricity under 0.3 is good, but I highly recommend 0.1.

You can do it by firing up the engine at a very low throttle, so that you have a lot more Control on your orbit

Very good update. It sets up a new era for this game, and for your life, i hope. I suggest (before you implement electricity) the solar panels could recharge the fuel tanks over time. Also i suggest you could make small dock, for free users, but with limited Weight resistence; so if it has for example, 2t attached to, it would break. Just to provide to the free users the experience of docking. It could be called "improvised dock". And please, for godsake do a zoom shortcut, maybe a custom macro. The most boring part of the game is zooming in and zooming out. If you remove this boring part, the game will be entirely fun.

As a new player to SFS this was really helpful, thank you so much!

I was also wondering for the next update you could work towards doing EVA’s (the astronaut doesn’t have to be detailed it could just be a small white dot or something) so then you could repair your ship or explore in further detail! Thanks.

The docking should be a lifetime award recognized by all of mankind for eternity.

This tutorial needs a bit of an update ngl

The tutorial is outdated, the new system is buggy and very hard to use for docking, please consider updating the tutorial as docking was way easier back with the older system for me

Calin Avram the solar panels are obviously glitched or something, but if you hit something too fast especially if your device is not a powerful model, like mine, it will destroy every part of the rocket

I got them together but they wouldn’t connect....

One thing I reccomend is to keep your last stage of the rocket until you're certain you can dock, the main engine is pretty crucial (to me) for navigating to the station. Also, take your time with docking, it takes trial and error to do it like in the video.

This is the best spaceflight game ever played

I absolutely love this game, but recently the dotted line that shows the closest approach has started to glitch out, it makes docking alot harder... Please tell me how to fix it.

I sent a rocket to the "surface" of Jupiter. It looked like it had a solid surface, and wondered if the dev had accidentally given Jupiter a solid surface. So I decided why not, and tried to land. To this day, it's still falling through Jupiter's clouds.

Man, I remembered that time when docking is the hardest thing ever.. I landed on mars and back but never docked.. Now, I have my space station.. Though it's still kinda hard.. lol. We need the orbit line to be more accurate so we can dock more precisely.. It's still moving a little even if my rocket is not doing any movement so the 2 rockets can sometimes be far away..

@Alexander Quijano ok tips: orbit the earth and make the moon the target. if you see a kinda lighter area in the orbit that is your burn window. so when you get into that, do a prograde burn until you are on course for moon encounter when you get to your lowest point above the moon do a retrograde burn until you are in orbit, then do another retrograde till you are on course for landing i would recommend using the "Map" window above 1k, then eyeballing it the rest

When i dont know how to dock thing i just bring them all ang assemble them in space but this time i send a spacecraft from earth then dock to my station that are assembled btw im just a free to play player

It means move on every direction until it appears that the station is not moving from your pespectve

I can dock on the Moon Orbit but not on the earth orbit...

Lol it does. Look closely, the satellite lite has a probe and the docked craft has a capsule

Also it's a bummer that the docking port goes where the parachute would go on the capsule so you can't land back on Earth with just the capsule.

If you have an android device you can download google opinion. This wil give you a way to earn money for your google account. It works the best if you travel to or near businesses(you will earn money faster this way). It will take a while to earn the money but its entirety free.

You make it look easy and i been trying weeks but i cant get it docking, but i might see way to do now , lol landed on the moon was hard for me also this too
