MOOLOOLABA BEACH I Sunshine Coast, South East Queensland, Australia, Travel Vlog 110, 2022

There's no other way to describe it....it's going to be stinking hot today ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
The Weather Bureau predicts a top temperature of 38c - but they say it will feel like 43c (thanks to the humidity). But we have a plan 😊 we're getting up early and going to the beach....MOOLOOLABA BEACH 😀
One of TripAdvisor's Top 10 Australian Beaches, Mooloolaba is one of the safest and family-friendly beaches on the Sunshine Coast. It’s a beautiful beach with white fine sand, warm water and good surf.
For more information about Mooloolaba:

We invite you to come with us as we make regular trips and take you with us via our weekly videos 😊
-------------------------------------------------------------
Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, come with us as we turn our focus on exploring everything our beautiful State has to offer!
Our videos are posted weekly 😊 (we aim for Thursdays).

Again sweet memories. we went to Mooloolaba in 2017, from there we visit Australia Zoo. I went 4 times to underwater world. I will tell you a nice story: ones at Amsterdam airport I was waiting for somebody. Start to talk with a guy. He told me he was from Australia. where in Australia I asked. He told me, you don't know. I say: try me. Queensland. ok, where in Queensland. He you don't know the place. Try me. Sunshine coast. Where on the Sunshine coast I asked him. He curious: You will not know the place. Me again: Try me: he Mooloolaba. I: I visit Underwater world (then) 3 times. The guy works there. And together we did a beer. :)

Good to see Mooloolaba through your video, after more than 2 years because of lockdown. The first time we went there was in 2001 when our kids were young. They enjoyed the visit to Under Water World (Sea Life Aquarium) and the wharf.

Hi Sidek 🤗Mooloolaba hasn't changed too much in the last couple of years. But there have been a few great improvements - refurbishment of the Wharf area with some really nice dining venues, further landscaping along the Esplanade shopping strip and a new boardwalk where the council foreshore caravan park was. Underwater World is now called Sea Life. Our children are adults now, but they still love going back to Mooloolaba ❤️ Thanks for your feedback!

I'm an ex coasty ( Nambour lad )now living in Devonport Tasmania. As a kid, one of my older brothers used to take us to the beach where you were swimming and loved it because of the calmer waters. The brother would go snorkeling out near the rock wall while the rest of us would paddle in the water. One day he came rushing out of the water as a shark was cruising around. Good times, though.

Ha ha great story! 20 years ago, we remember hearing the lifeguards at Mooloolaba ring a big bell to tell everyone to get out of the water because of a shark. It would happen a couple of times every summer. But they have shark nets along the coast now. We love Mooloolaba Beach, it’s still a great place to swim ☀️

I went to sunshine coast about 15 years ago, as I remember, that place didn’t give me too much impression, a few people, bushes everywhere, a few small stores, that’s all, like a countryside. Does it change a lot compared to 15 years ago? In your video looks like paradise.

Hi Fongfong C 🤗 The Sunshine Coast has increased in population and had a lot of development in the past 15 years. During this time, we have noticed improvements to landscaping and infrastructure in parks, near beaches, in small towns and major roads. You might enjoy it more if you have the opportunity to visit again someday 😊
