It’s 11pm here and as we are writing to you, it’s a warm summers evening and we have our doors and windows open….we can only hear the occasional cow moo-ing, cicadas and frogs. Hi Sidek 🤗 We’ve driven past that entrance many times, but never gone down. The North Maleny side is an easy, flat 5 minute drive from Maleny. We could see the Montville side from where we were having lunch. We loved that it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves!

Very beautiful. Peace and serenity. That picnic food looks amazing and love that set up. What a great spot you've found. I am really looking forward to hopefully meeting you in sometime in the next few months

Hi Patricia 😊 Although we knew about the dam, we didn’t realise there are two entrances. Being local, you probably recognised that we went to the North Maleny entrance and we were surprised how quick and easy it was to get there!

It's a picnic. We just knew egg sandwiches had to be in there somewhere! The desserts in that bakery all look fantastic. It would be a difficult choice. Best to try something different every week...... get the hint? You're welcome. ;)
