I think you should try split the ship into compartments so next time even a big hole in the bow like that might not be fatal

Can you have a model masted warship circa 18th cent..
I run a 5-masted clipper at my local club in Washington. It's a convoy, not armed, but it looks gorgeous as it sinks :)
