MONSTER TRUCK PROJECT EP 4 | REMOVING THE BED
In this episode I'll be removing the bed and the cab from the frame!!! This is very exciting because as soon as the bed and cab come off then I can pull the engine and get started with that!!! If you're new here, I'm turning this 2005 Toyota Tacoma into a monster truck!!! Well, really it's a rock crawler but It's going to have some intense upgrades that are going have it looking like a monster truck! Come along on todays video while we tackle the task of taking this truck down to the frame!!!

This comment is for Allie. Allie you guys need to get a 20' shipping container to put next to the garage for all the new and used parts for Trent's truck. You have a two car garage and neither of your cars is in it!! The garage is a mess and someone is going to get hurt. You have tripping hazards all around. Be careful with Leo!! The shipping container will give you room also to park the tractor and all the snow blowers! I park my forklift and scissor lift in it when I'm not using them. If you're concerned with the way it looks, plant arborvitaes around it. They grow fast and are great cover. I have one outside my shop and it is great! Beekeeping is one of my hobbies and I have three hives on top of my container. It keeps them away from all the animals and high above the neighbors! The natural honey is great especially in coffee or tea!
The fun part about a project like this is tearing everything apart. The real job happens when it goes to putting all that stuff back on, good luck! 😊
Having been a Trent and Allie watcher for ages, I love that Allie is a prominent part of what was maybe only supposed to be “Trent’s” Garage. It’s lovely to see a couple that just enjoy each other so much that their projects overlap so often. Now Allie… get that “yoga on the deck” program up and running. I’m waiting to join 🙋🏼♀️
To steal a line… You two are everything everywhere all the time. That’s a complement. Love your videos!!
In the first few episodes, Allie was trying to be the silent/hidden camera person. In this one she was the helping partner. This seemed much more natural.
I have been watching Trent and Allie for a long time and look forward to watching Trent's Garage. I noticed Trent buys a lot of thing's for himself and his hobbies but never see Allie buying anything. Spoil yourself girl. You do a lot of work putting these video's out.
Trent's lucky to have you Ally
The old saying “team work is dream work” is definitely going on here. Allie is always game to help on the house/garage build and she looks like she’s having “fun” on the truck too!
Allie ! Right on, she is going to know more about light trucks then she ever imagined. Very cool.
Oh Allie can’t be too awful upset, she helped in the unloading of the drill press. Well worth it’s purchase. You will use it more than you think.
Allie, you have officially earned your "What A Woman" title in this episode!!!
I have absolutely no idea what you are doing or why, but having fun watching anyway. Abbey is fantastic! She deserves a full spa day for doing this!!!
Allie is an awesome helper!!! You're a lucky man Trent! ❤️ you two!
Great job Trent
Allie, you’re a trooper. My wife would tell me to get someone else to help removing the truck bed. Glad no one was injured.
🦋 Another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Episode of Trent’s Garage. Nice that Allie Was able to help you. No car crazy don’t even own a car but I love this show. Keep it coming.
A bit later but i am here again for watch the new Adventure of Trent's Garage. I love it..thanks for share Trent..Love you Guys 🙌❤️
Trent, you are so ambitious!🤗
Another great episode Trent. Allie you got some muscle there girl! Love seeing you both work together. Keep living the good life ❤️
I give you an A for effort and a B- for knowledge. Great effort!
Am so happy that you are having fun! lol Ali, you're a great helper and supporter! Love you guys. I like this channel.
You should install 24" or 36" pallet racking to store parts, etc. along your bench wall and make use of prime real estate above your bench, welder spot, drill press, tubing bender....... Looking forward to move videos.

Once we pass inspection in this garage I’ll be making lots of storage and shelving. Right now it’s a mess haha
Trent it’s nice that Allie is helping you with your project. How many wives would do the same thing… not many… so, my hat’s off to her… really like your show… you both are a great team… it’s always a bonus when your wife is on board, and working with you…

She’s the best wife anyone could ask for!!
BIG⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ TIP 4 ya Trent and others watching: (Old Navy and Ship Yard Trick) When breaking rusted or broke bolts and stuck nuts. Don't just heat or weld a nut on them also quench them with oil (like 3n1 or used motor oil in a squirt bottle) till it stops smoking. Then try breaking it loose. 10 out of 10 times they will always break loose. Even works on heated cross threaded ones.👉Don't use WD-40 or something similar just smokes alot with out leaving any behind 👈
Oh my goodness Trent, what a lot of hard work you're doing on this Tacoma, and you are so amazing at all of this, and so great you had Allie to help you out. Have a great rest of your day, sending love and hugs, bye! 🤗👋👍🎉🎊✨🤟💜💜
You really need the tools or things won't get done. You are a handy person Trent, and one reason why I am watching the truck show is to learn a little about truck construction. I'm hoping when you get to the wheel bearings, that you might explain how they work and show what they look like. My truck needs new ones, and they're expensive. I love the videos.
Trent gets ALL the toys! And complains about his awesome, patient wife. And he's got the empathy of a wrench! And the sense of humor of a snowflake. Well done dude
Good job Allie!!!!!!!!!!!!
The scraping sounds sequence gave me a much needed laugh, thanks Trent! 😂
Trent I have done just about what you're doing. When you go to take a nut or bolt off, give it a shot to tighten it that most times break it, then back it out. It works 85 % of the time. Have fun Take Care to you and Allie and of course LEO
Fantastic video work by Allie! Love the project Trent, you’re doing what lots of we guys wish we could do. 👍👍🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🤘🏻🤘🏻
I'm really amazed how much I enjoy seeing this being done. But I've always loved cars, atvs and the beautiful southwest!
Love watching your videos. Missed "Trent and Alley" video on Friday .💓

Awesome Trent, Yep I’m here watching. Will catch on the next one
Great job Trent and Allie... ❤️ Love the videos
😎 now all the planning and fabrication begins👍✌
Great episode Trent
I have that same 1/2 inch impact. What a beast! Surprised that torx socket didn't snap. If you had a bigger garage, you'd just have more crap, then you'll need a bigger one, etc, etc. My garage looks the same, except mine has beer bottles scattered about from my "helpers". Allie rocks!
Double thumbs up for Allie who was willing to help with super-human strength after the intro comment regarding tool purchases. All in good fun. Trent, I hope you gave Allie a nice massage after her help.
great work, coming along nicely... Allie is fully involved in this... TandA's Garage
great show guys loved it
I enjoy your content. Keep it coming! Allie is a beast!!!!!!! Love it, that she is right there in the thick of it.

Hey Trent can you forward Dean the HVAC Guy's info to Matt's off road recovery 😁
Good gob Madman Trent, ha ha. I think you are a man on a joyful mission. Man vs beast, who will win? My money 💰 is on you Trent, good luck 👍 and hi Allie for all her work.
This is great. Really enjoy your Monday and Friday videos and this just adds to that. Thanks for all the great videos!
Awesome job Enjoy much love and blessings
Reminds me of my wife and I lifting heavy things. I finally bought a roll around gantry crane and it’s used way more than I thought. My wife always says how come everything you buy or do is super heavy and Why didn’t you get into a different hobby like stamp collecting or collecting feathers 😂 Great job on editing this episode !
For the 2 prong plastic clips, you can use a small socket to depress both sides at the same time. It makes it much easier for the clip to be released.

Now that is a hack!!! Love that idea
Kudos Allie, can't tell ya how many times, I've had to get down & dirty with the hubby taking things apart, helping him move things that we neither one could lift. Our men can do anything, as long as we are there to help! LOL Nice job today kids! Truly enjoyed watching ya today!
All the fun toys!!!😊
You guys doing great keep um coming God Bless
Trent I enjoyed watching your videos and learned a lot you’re doing a great job I also love the way Allie is always hands on with most things much blessings to you both 🙏🏾
Really fun to watch! When things start going back together, I think that you’ll realize that you really need very little of the wiring harnesses that you are striving to save. Give it some thought..
You are one hellava problem solver Trent. I love your show. The best from Tennessee.

Glad to see you guys back. I missed you on Friday. To get stuck bolts out, you can always drill them out. In this video, it was obvious that Allie was bringing the muscle 🙂
Trent is like an only, homeschooled kid whose mother has to play with him and encourage his interests, no matter how bizarre.
Houston we have separation 😂 Phew hard work. Loving this, something completely different for me. 😊 ❤️
Trent, toss the old wrecked bed and check your local wrecking yard, find one undamaged and then just modify it to suit your needs. Just a thought.
Great video...
Good job Allie helping Trent with the truck bed! It didn't look light. LOL
yes-yes small progress is fine even with big projects, so keep going, it looks exciting Greetings from Denmark🤓
Well I found out the little things in life are well worth waiting on and all of you guys vids are definitely worth it ❤
Trent you could dismantle the world with an impact driver, plasma cutter and a hacksaw Wow, you really mean business. Should be interesting when you start the rebuild. Hi Allie.
Nice job!!!
They make a device that does something like the impact that also delivers the blow of the hammer to the bolt I think Kline tools makes one. You twist the outer "handle" in the direction you want it to turn then pound it with the short handle sledge. Helps break loose stubborn bolts/nuts.
Gosh, your face was clean till the end, until you touched your nose😂😊😅. Great Job Trent and Allie 🥂🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸
Love the new intro graphic ❤
Really enjoying the Chanel.
Go Trent go good job, love the channels.
It's fun to watch both channels to see how the timeline fits together. Because I thought you have a drill press. I saw one under the ladder you were using when Dean was there.

And the big snow blower was still in pieces.
You need a Hammer Impact Driver. You can put on the bit/socket you need and then you hit the driver with a hammer. It generates that rotational motion every time you hit it with a hammer.
I waited and worried all day Monday!!! Did Trent fall off of something? Did something fall on Trent??? I finally figured it out and found you all. 😁. I like the new show.
Wow well this brought back fond nightmares... Lol
Love watching creative people.
WOW Allie?? You're strong!? When I named Trent Clark Trent, I should have named you Wonder Woman! That crate and pickup bed was heavy?? You crushed it! I wouldn't want to be on your bad side LOL!
Thanks for sharing! That RUCK going to ROCK!! God Bless.
Love the channel! I watch every Sunday.

I’d keep those tips in my back pocket for next time!
Trent, You remind me of my younger self, just not on your level. I never ask myself “Can I do this” but “How am I going to DO it” I have watched everyone of y’all’s Trent and Allie house building videos, Great job!! Have you considered hanging a winch or block and tackle for lifting light but bulky items. I know with your engineering you can determine how much weight your overhead structure will support or maybe add a metal post or two. I know it would have limitations but most of the time you could move things close to it or tie off a snatch block to direct the lift point.. Just a thought…. Be Thankful for a strong supportive wife !!
Awesome video 👍👍,love your channel
Love the 'Medusa' moniker!
Well Trent, I think that the bottom line is that more tools will solve all your problems!
Dude! You got one heck of a shop already...envious...
Think you need to find yourself a really long RSJ beam and fix it right through your building on the centre line of your build bay and have it stick out above the door by 5 feet . With a trolley on the inside to for a lift block and a one on the outside for getting stuff out of your truck. Best done before you get round to cladding. Still loving you channels. Keep safe

Half ton chain blocks are way cheaper than treatment for the torn back
this was an instructive video think that many young people will benefit from this for me it is interesting and fun to follow you will not do anything with it now that I am 76 but I will keep watching I missed you last Friday greetings from Roosendaal in the Netherlands Hans .👍👍👍👍👍🍀
Allie is wonder woman!
You have a excellent wifey. It's nice to see you'll working together so well. Missy Allie has muscles. Enjoyed as usual. Allie reminds me of me. Just get in there and get it done.
You should def start soaking bolts with pb blaster before hand. If u spray pb blaster in between the bed n the frame where bolts were let it soak a bit it would help.

You’re right! I definitely should have been more proactive
I came here to make sure that you were both okay. There wasn’t a video put out on Friday, so I was concerned about you and your family. Glad to see you both. 😘
now that you have just the chassis and engine left it doesn't look like a truck. now the fun of building it and putting the rust treatment on.
Okay this reminds me of helping my husband at the time help him lift and carry (not too far) a VW MOTOR out of the body‼️ I only, if, weighed 100 lbs‼️ Amazing what wives do for their husbands ❣️Just be careful ❣️Kudos Allie🥰
Love the automotive version of T&A. Keep it coming
I had a 96 Tacoma 2wd. The Toyota engine would probably be running beyond my lifetime, but boy did they screw up with the metal and finish choices for their frames. (and back bumper). I tacked on some angle which got me a few more years of use. A drill press is one of my most used tools, and a Drill DR bit sharpener was well worth it too. And for what you do, I would absolutely put a loader on your kubota. The snow blower is great when you have ten feet of snow, but the rest of the year while you are wrestling crates and other heavy things on and off your truck build having a set of forks gives you your own forklift, and a bucket lets you do basic driveway and dirt maintenance.
Nice!
What great team work - the lifting side , filming side and general support - 💜 Trent do you keep a record of all the million of nuts and bolts you remove as to where they go ? A girl question 😊
Trent your the only rated g mechanic 🤣🤣 by now i would have dropped 50 fbombs and been demonetized

Nice job getting the cab off the frame. What a bugger, eh. Nice to have all those new tools. Thanks for sharing
You got to be nice to your beautiful wife she helps you out so much till your son gets older !❤😊
No one ever said, " I built my barn or shop too big." LOL! Love watching the video's keep up the good work. And I, for one, totally get the jokes about buying toys....I am guessing most of us have "accidently" bought something that will be useful for years to come.... At least in your case you can write them off as a business expense. :-) Keep having fun and sharing the journey, ain't no bolt gonna stop ya!!!
