CHANGE OF PLANS, IT'S GETTING MORE INTENSE... EP 5

I've made a big decision! I was originally just going to pull the motor so I could fabricate the frame more easily. BUT NOW!! while the motor is out, I'm going to tear it down completely and rebuild it from the ground up!!!
This Toyota Tacoma is going to be a full on project for the next I don't know how many months and i'm super excited! Come along and drop a comment to give me any feedback in todays video. Pretty soon I can start on the frame!!!

Mechanics tip, attach one engine hoist chain on the front of the engine, and the other chain on the rear, this way you can use the hoist leveller to adjust the position of the engine!

Oh Trent you have turned my husband into a you tube junkie. I’m sure that he is thinking that one video a week is just not enough. As I told you in the past, this is something that he used to do in his YOUTH , and you are bringing so many memories back to him. I have to sit through these videos with him giving me an even more informative description of what you are doing 😢. Thank you so much for what you are giving him without even knowing. ❤

We use to have military aircraft tires and wheels that were a real bear to get the bead started on. But we found that putting a ratcheting strap around the middle of the tire and tightening it down you could eventually get a seal and the air would pop them on. I'm enjoying these videos, brings back memories.

Another possibly safer way to help set that lower bead I have seen used is to wrap a ratchet strap around the circumference of the tire and tighten it up. By squeezing the tire around the middle of the tread, the strap puts pressure to force the bead into place. May not be as much fun as jumping on it though.

OK, 1. the ratchet strap works, what you need is a engine hoist leveler. 2. it appears you want a lot of power. it's going to be expensive for a Toyota. So, just get you a 5.3, 5,7 or the desirable 6,0 LS engine, with either a 4L60 or 4L 80 trans, A Holly EFI unit and brain(Computer) and have way more power than you ever want, and do it much cheaper. A very popular swap these days, into EVERYTHING! And Tons of information out there for a complete swap!

Turn it and the hand crank would have leveled out the load.. good luck...

🥰 it’s fun to see you so happy and excited. I love reading the comments from men or wives about their husbands and how much they love this. I know nothing about all of this-when you said “This is really exciting, or the exciting part” that was my nudge, it was exciting. I am very excited to see it come together, the tires are gorgeous. As usual nice seeing Brandon and hearing Allie 😊. Love you all 💕

Yaaaa 💪🤝🤓 having that mota out where you can see every aspect of it is a huge step...thats how you can really see what you've got...check for cracks, warps & dings and bubble gum.... might consider start ordering parts as you get them off and before that big red puzzle gets so scrambled around its an omlette not a truggy... great fun going on over there spectacular tires I mean oh heck yeah...where's Joel that smart guys' gonna want to know where everything's supposed to be sitting and how it works... I think they clip those wiring cables together in the middle so they don't get hung up on assembly line or subsewuent functions...anything going forward or in reverse lol 😆thanks for sharing c-ya @
