I feel like there's a heavy emphasis on teamwork in this video. For anyone out there concerned about solo play, the Monster Hunter titles have always made sure that the game is not only possible, but enjoyable solo. I played a TON of MH: Generations solo and it was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.

BTW you said "observe first before attacking". I want to revise it and change it to "observe while attacking" cuz you learn more things that way, like "what is its weak spot?", or "how long should my combos be to be able to dodge when it attacks?"

The Sword And Shield, when wielded by a Master, is an extremely versatile platform that allows great damage potential and the ability to heal and buff your team without sheathing your weapon.

Ooh boy, now post-Iceborne and post SnS buff, SnS has become one of the highest dps weapons, when in the hands of an expert. In the hands of a beginner it's actually pretty weak, I feel (until I learned how to use it a little, whenever I tried to hunt with it each hunt lasted sooo long). I speak as a bow main.

Good luck to all the newbies out there trying to find their perfect weapon. It can take a while to find that weapon that smashes just right. Just a note, the hunting horn isn't exclusively a support weapon, it's perfectly viable for solo play too.

I know it's stupid but I just can't use some of the weapons cos of how ridiculously oversized they are. In a game about hunting giant monsters, I realise I'm a moron, but I can't help it

Really well done video. I’m a MH veteran and I still loved watching it. Didn’t learn anything new though but that’s okay. I’ll share this with anyone who asks me about getting into MH!

He forgot to mention the dual blades have another special form that is acquired thru demon mode though nothing too special, just your blades retaining the extra power boost off demon mode for a limited time. The only problem I'm having with the game is being able to play with friends at the start off every main mission. Don't see why we need to see the "cut scenes" before we can join. It'd be nice if they could fix that issue, it would make multiplayer play so much more fluid.

6:00 you can support with the heavy bow-gun too

There is Health, it's at the bottom left. It's the wave zig zag thing like those things in the Hospitals for critical patients. Tip, the monster when weakened enough to be able to be captured they have a skull on the map. 💀 just like this. So yeah MHW has Monster health.

No, the "zig zag" is heart rate, it shows the stamina and energy of the monster not health. Also the skull shows if it's in critical and low health. So no, there is no health bar.

at 3:20 that isn't poop... it's mud the Barroth slings off it's body...

When you said that there are no health bars for the monster than monster Hunter world what about the little heart monitor thing at the bottom of the screen with the monsters icon on it

the axe part of the switchaxe is the slowest part of that weapon. With the sword function being significantly faster

But the axe is more mobile than the sword ,but yes the axe attacks slower than the sword

wish it was on nintendo since i am a huge fan and only spent money on monster hunter stuff also you should have noted that a hammer can knock out a monster by smashing his head in

Never played Monster Hunter before. This seems like a cross between Dark Souls/Bloodborne and Destiny's co-op gameplay.

As an avid dark souls/destiny fan, the combat is very similar to dark souls, but with more combos and weapon types available, and the co-op is somewhat similar to destiny too.

Some scenes where beta while the others are the full game. You couldnt customize your character in the beta

You can tell the leader board is made up of entirely game journalists because of the amount of stupid obvious or wrong information this video gives out but then again this was on release this is coming 4 years later
