Also, the complaint about "no endgame" when it is well known that there is always an Ultimate expansion that brings the endgame. Not to mention Capcom has gone on record to say that ongoing support for MHRise would look a lot like MHW (meaning new quests and new monsters over the next year)

Its a drawback when 50 hours is pretty much nothing for a monster hunter game. Gen ultimate is an easy 1000 hour game.

They said that in april the end of the story will come out with more monsters

It really should have came out with that at launch but the team did have 2 major setbacks being Covid and a Ransom ware attack that they had to deal with when developing the game.

You'll have fun with generations ultimate if you want a lot of different things to do. It's completely It's own unique game from world and rise. Most similar to the other older games. Lots of content in gu. Should be fun to go back to after you beat Rise. The first 2 hours are rough though. Few boring required quests.

You're maining insect glaive that's why Wyvern riding is easy to trigger. it triggers of jump attacks and silkbind attacks. it's the new mounting system.

@@erickgm15 Same reason why World didn't come out for the switch. They have separate teams working on different games. One of the teams has always been dedicated to bringing monster hunter to portable consoles. We're lucky enough to even get a pc version later.

The maps are bigger and more interesting in world. Also there is just more content in world and the end game is better too by the sounds of it. But the actual gameplay mechanics are better in rise.

Their review scores are so skewed too. An IGN 8 is equivalent to a 6.5-7 elsewhere. meanwhile games like Apex Legends, Hyrule Warriors AOC, Call of the Sea, and Cyberpunk got a higher scores. Odd.

@@luuigi5007 Yeah they finished the story and added a bunch of elder dragons and apex monsters to fight which the previous installment (World) had more or less in the base game. As of right now though, Rise still needs more monsters IMO

The RE engine is the best engine this generation! It shows that it can scale to the lowest end of machines up to the next generation high end consoles! Capcom and it's graphics engineers need all the praise.

6:30 I'm guessing the reviewer didn't know that the April update is adding the last part of the story. All that stuff he was dissapointed at should be in the next update.
