No, but it has other scummy stuff like Emotes, costumes, hairstyles, stickers. And the worst one yet, they charge you $3.00 just to change the appearance of your character. Yeah, no thanks, i'm gonna hard pass on this game.

@@kseries1981 everything you mention doesn't affect the way you play the game or gives an advantage against others , as multiplayer game that is really minor compare to other games where 70% requires online purchases or items in order to advance or get ahead from anyone , I support in game items whenever is done right and a reasonable price , but I don't support microtransactions that are ment to just force you to buy them

Nobody use emote and sticker that much in the game lmao. Everything you got is your pure hard grind and nothing is buffed or nerfed if you didn't buy the emote or stickers

Nah Ubisoft and CD Projekt RED are off the hook there, AC Origins, Odyssey, and The Witcher 3 are some of the most expansive and deep expansions ever made. Everyone else I agree with though.

Impressed that he took hours just checking out the housing crafting options. That is what reviewers should do, not quitting the game like many do because they didn't enjoy it.

Enjoying Alatreon fight, the first fight was nerve wrecking and frustrating. Once you beaten it, you entered the realm of the elite hunters in game.

In regards to the subspecies gripe I think it makes sense to expand on the current monster roster more than it does to put entirely new monster designs into an expansion. New monster designs will likely go into an entirely new game down the line.

There are other games that have "shooter genre" elements in it's gameplay, but are not shooters. Fortnite is an actual shooter an classified as such. When you search it, it reads "co-op 3rd Person Shooter". Whatever mindset your brother has while he is enjoying the game is his own opinion and has no bearing on the official genre of the game.

Yes. It could be called MH: World 2, MH6, or something completely new like MH: Victory or something. But what is 100% certain is that there are 3 separate teams making MH games: There's the team that makes the MH stories series, the portable/handheld team (commonly referred to as "B team") who made MHG/MHGU and Rise, then there's the mainline/home console team (commonly referred to as "A team") who was responsible for MH4/MH4U, Monster Hunter World/Iceborne, and whatever they are working on next. My best educated guess is that after "A team" released Iceborne back in September 2019, they kept a small team to continue work on Post launch title updates for Iceborne, while another group split off to start production of "MH6" or whatever you want to call it. Support for World/Iceborne pretty much ended in like December of 2020, so now they are in full team production on MH6. At this point they've probably been working on MH6 for about a year. My best guess is MH6 will release sometime early 2024.

i just love the fact that they gave us subspecies of exciting monster like in previous MH games. i cannot wait to kill nergigante again in his sub form! this is a crazy amount of content for the price.

MH should have a combo system. You should be able to have the option to repeat the same quest over and over(combo) and each time it gets more difficult but also drops more rare mats. Then after 15 or 20 you get a guaranteed gem.

Mh4u had something very similar to that. You would level up a guild quest and the more you do it the harder the monster was and the better the rewards. Mhw iceborne also has something similar to that with the guiding lands when you reach the endgame.

Capcom is on fire! They really managed to turn things around!

Only way for us to say Thanks for a great game to Capcom, is to make it Game of the Year, it needs to be

It's currently peer to peer. So if you wanna have more than 16 capcoms gotta maintain bigger servers

AnimeForever 196 That was never the case. With story missions, all you had to do was finish the cutscene before others could join (it’s still the same in Iceborne)

I'm so happy monster hunter has made it mainstream. I've been playing it since I discovered MH1 as a child on psp. Such a brilliant game, do miss the slightly harder difficulty though. Small things like infinite whetstones and the ability to restock on gear reduces emphasis on preparedness. Something that made the game feel much more of a challenge in the older games. Memories of running out of whetstones while trying to kill a gravios and black gravios and running over the 50minute mark are things I'll never forget about the older games. They were much more dark souls-esque

I'm going to tell you right now end game armor looks amazing that's all I'm saying also you can just layer your favorite armor

My only complaint is that I wish they would have added more brand new monsters as opposed to mostly bringing back older ones. We could have had a giant Ant-like insect monster and a "Great" version of those Wolverine/Wolf-like small monsters in the Hoarfrost Reach. If they insisted on bringing back older monsters, they should have done Mizitsune or Malfestio instead.

I'm SO glad they fixed one of the biggest complaints of the base game: Bland and samey weapon designs. A lot of veterans to the series, such as myself, found that the weapons in High Rank just weren't all that unique looking. But if they've gone back to classic design styles, like with that Rathalos hammer, I'm very happy.

4:27 - yeah I doubt that buddy, why you Lyin? I’m pretty sure theme music like that tends to get annoying after long playthroughs to the point of muting it. Edit: 5:06 - RACKS ON RACKS ON RACKS!

I don’t mind subspecies and variants point is null. 10/10

Mhw has been so successful I can only imagine what they gonna do with next gen consoles. The next game will definitely get a bigger budget ,what do yall think capcom will do? 1 completely new monster hunter game with mostly new monster 2 statis quo reusing monsters with new story.

I don't know if i can hold out another 6 months for the PC release. I hate to keep dumping time and money into playing on two separate platforms, but it looks amazing.

From the bottom of my heart I can't thank you enough Capcom for making MHW and The New DLC!!! You guys are very generous when it came to pricing the game and DLC with all kinds of Free DLC for MHW. You guys are great, Thank you very much💟

Ok now Capcom, can you do the same to dmc5 as well? With big expansion as big as its original game?

Don't care about drachen as much but my divine slasher is a necessity hope they have an upgrade for it

The only game I have ever pre ordered can't wait for the amazing fights

Me seeing review: OH MA GAWD NARGACUGA I can’t wait to play again! I haven’t played since monster hunter 3 ultimate ( I played monster hunter stories but I didnt like the cartoon aesthetic
