G3 Abbey has such a well designed doll. Genuinely something about her face just draws you in. In-fact she drew me in so much that I broke my ankle on my quest to find her. She was totally worth it though

I am buying on sale too and making better decisions about where I want my money to go. I’m turning 58 this year. I have asked my husband to help me stay in control, with my money. That helps me get the things I want but if I find something I have to have, it’s of course okay to get it. Lol

She is hands down my favorite doll from G3! I’ve never purchased a doll so fast! But, yes…I also waited until she hit the US at the 24.99 price point. 60$ and 40$ just was NOT happening for me. I’m definitely becoming more selective and thinking about my doll purchases. ❤

Good call, I just purchased her for 35€ and she's my first Monster High Doll, saw her on Amazon and she's really cute! I collect Anime figures but no dolls (except one Hatsune Miku) so I'm excited to get her!

I purchased my frankie g3 doll for 25 pounds in the UK cause she was originally 30 pounds so I waited.

as a 23 year old who just unearthed all my old MH dolls and started collecting again i just wanna say your channel was always my favorite as a kid and to come back and see you still at it promoting never having to grow out of dolls brings me so much joy like omg

I got mine a few months ago in the UK. She looks so cute and she stole my heart when I saw her. Always worried about promo pictures vs the real deal, but the real deal matched the promo pictures to a T.

I love Abby's design! Her flared pants are really nice and 70s chic! Her blue and purple color combo I never would've thought of picking, but it works together well! AND thank you for adding some warm encouraging words to us about money issues at the end. As a young adult, I've been panicking, but hearing your words on it really soothed my soul.

Abbey is definitely a favourite. Love everything about her. I've also tried to be more responsible with collecting, but pay in four and no money down pre-order options make buying difficult to resist. Monster High and Rainbow High are the only two doll play-lines I collect, and not all the waves make it to Australia. Hardly any of the MH is here and it's really expensive to get them from Amazon.

YES! I’ve been a MH fan since I was in my early 20’s, and now I’m in my early 30’s with a 6 year old daughter who is also obsessed with it! Abbey is our new favourite G3 doll; she’s absolutely beautiful! 💜 But we are in the same boat as you, we have to choose one from doll each line and wait till others go on sale, especially since here in Canada, MH dolls are $39.99 each.

For doll budgeting, even though I have always been selective in my purchases, this year has been so packed with Barbie, MH, RH, and Disney that it’s still adding up. I will be putting some of my dolls up for sale to recycle some of the money, and I almost never buy a doll at regular price if it’s not limited. I also find I am more reluctant to buy collector-priced dolls like SDCC Draculaura or Fur Coat Ken, especially since they cost more in Canada. I am out of space too, so I would have to slow down anyway.

I love Abbey!! Waiting to get her for a while since I live in a foreign country and exchange rates are insane BUT to manage my collecting, I have a ranking system where I think 20 times before I decide to get a doll and a wishlist with different priorities like creepro lagoona and frankie are on top of my wishlist then vampire heart drac and core refresh drac then abbey and the list goes on. I eventually buy them after months of saving some extra money at least or not, who knows, I always have to ask friends of friends abroad who are visiting to receive the packages because customs (haha) and eventually after maybe a year or so I finally have the dolls in my hands haha, its a long process so I need to have a lot of forethought prior so I guess the responsibility with finances is kind of a given

I’m in the same boat. I’ve been getting the dolls I really want now & waiting for a sale on others. I just got abbey today & I feel this is the most stunning version of her. Abbey, Cleo, & Draculaura are my favorites for G3. I have Frankie & Clawdeen but I might make a few changes to get them to my liking

I turned her shawl into leg warmers because I just wasn't loving it as a shawl/scarf thing and the leg warmers are so cute, I put them on my second Abbey doll that has different clothes since fuzzy leg warmers and long pants just didn't really work when I tried. She's easily my favorite G3 ghoul!

I'm buying a bit less. I just choose to buy the ones I like the best. I got the 3 series 2 Shadow high I liked the best first. I just got Carla because she was on sale for 17 at Target recently. I'm not getting the rainbow runway dolls because my doll budget stops at 35 for a single doll. (So I can get more dolls) but I may get Skyler at some point. Never had to do food boxes as a kid did have had to as a single mom. My roommate however is just a year younger than you and he too says that the govt cheese was the best. ❤ you so much! I really appreciate your videos and your sweet heart!

for me, right now, MH G3 is my priority. so i do buy all of them as they come out (as long as i can find them for MSRP) but everything else is the budget way. buy my fave up front and then wait till any other ones i want go on sale. i also love thrifting for my older dolls.

I just found Abbey Bominable and Clawd Wolf today finally and picked up the best ones along with ily4ever jakks bambi. I’m so excited for finally have abbey Bominable and Clawd Wolf. They took priority over fearidecent skulltimate secrets but those too are coming… MonsterHigh for life!

I want all the first character G3 MH dolls . But they are 40-50 dollars each here right now so i have to wait! I do hade some luck to find some dolls for about 35 dollars each so i was so lucky. But no i dont buy so much right now, i cant pay 45 dollars for a doll when i need the money to food and other things. :(

I'm still waiting that a doll line applies the idea of body representation on male characters too. I'm 1.94m and I have thick body (not fat but neither muscular). I'm happy with abbey also for that, but I wish that one day we'll see male dolls with different bodies😕

Yup the government cheese was the bomb diggity :) I remember a truck would pull in and a person would leave a box with milk, butter, the cheddar cheese, and peanut butter. There is no shame in the resources available to families who need some extra help. I never looked at it as something embarrassing- I was actually excited when our box came- how did they know what all my favorite things were ? Melissa - you tapped into a memory that I hadn’t thought of in years, and it reminded me of being happy even when dealing with adversity as a family. I love Abby too!

Hi therapist.....I'm so frustrated cause when I finally find a set of dolls, another set magically is in stores. Companies should wait a couple months before putting out new dolls. I buy dolls to help with my anxiety. I collect rainbow high and I'm still missing 3 old sets that aren't in my stores. They need to understand that it's a struggle to actually find them. Can you talk to them about this issue please?

Also, since Abbey has a pet woolly mammoth and Torale’s pet is a saber-toothed tiger, would like to see a Monster High character with a pet dinosaur in the future (preferably a Tyrannosaurus rex or a Velociraptor).

Such an amazing quality doll. Her outfit is so nicely made, I mean all the printed details??? That's gotta be expensive work yet rh stans still think their doll with plain 1 color fabric are "detailed" 😂

Clawd did not interest me, his clothes are boring and he doesn't have much of a unique personality/style. Heath leaks also disappointing. At this point, since I only collect boy dolls, I'm waiting on Gil Webber cuz his style is great. I think Abby is one of the best dolls of G3 though.

It is very unfortunate because this doll was my favorite of G3 and so I was hoping the dolls can go more in this direction. But I still have hope for G3, because despite Abbey, a lot of the other dolls are really cool, too!
