Glitter is banned in the EU and some companies in the UK do not use it because its made from plastic so it has to be biodegradable. Its because glitter made from plastic ends up in the water, fish and other creatures ingest it and then we end up eating it. Its very bad for the environment as well as the safety issue with kids too.

There have been loose information floating about that the slime dolls would get an EU version with pre-made slime on the internet sometime in March, but this is the first time I’ve seen them officially exist. That’s a lot faster than expected!

Watching that tinsel start to frizz just from handling her is hurting my heart . . . Between the tinsel and the slime, I'm concerned about the long term play value of these dolls. Patents won't like the slime, kids are going to destroy the tinsel trying to FIX the tinsel and then get frustrated . . . I'm just overall concerned.

The international one is almost better, the eyebrows, the fact the slime is premade! The shimmer powder instead of the stupid glitter. Now I know what I wanna look for! Lol thanks for this review as always. 😄 also my best friends girls LOVE rainbow high. I told her the quality is going down, the price is the same and they come with slime and she literally said RIP cause I WON’T buy the girls slime anymore. They can’t be responsible with it so they aren’t allowed to play with it anymore. Sad. Those girls are obsessed.

MGA you really did it and almost copied that one Barbie extra with this outfit 😐 The EU has always been ahead of the US. We are still rocking like 1950s FDA crap and can’t even get a decent sunscreen here.

Not for me personally. If anyone reads this, I'm wondering why everyone is saying that we are going to get Storywood dolls? Is there a trademark for that line that I haven't heard of? I haven't seen anything about a line coming out, only a graphic on Scarlett's sweatshirt. To me, that could just mean it's a graphic like any other; or it could mean that Mga is going to do a line of dolls for it. If there is a trademark for a Storybook line, would someone please let me know :)

I actually like her the best out of all the slime dolls.

If we get a full blown fantasy series of the dolls, I will completely forgive the reboot (yes, even the slime). Hopefully new Shadow High style dolls will be in that line as well.

Honest and fun review. She is my favorite doll from out of this line. Love her hair and pale/porcelain skin complexion. So funny you said Schleim. It's German for slime. I'm happy to see the slime is already been shaked and stirred. Saves me a lot of fumbling. I live in the Netherlands, Europe. And glitter in my country must be edible and biodegradable for the safety of kids and the environment. These dolls are clearly a soft reboot. I hope the brand is going to build itself up again from this first wave of Rainbow world dolls.(different ethnicities, more detailed fashions etcetera)

Fantastic Fashions Poppy wasn't even sold in most places. Rainbow High groups their series in two groups of 3 to buy from. It was Jade, Skylar, Violet. Sunny, Ruby, Amaiya. Poppy just wasn't there or available in most places. I had to get her online. She was literally nowhere.

I also agree about the slime I think all it is is extra junk for doll collectors I think it should be sold separately that way kids can have it to because doll colllector probably will just throw it away I think you would look cool in a demin jacket you are never to old!

It's weird because among collectors, Amaya is the most hated doll. I still can't find Poppy and she's still $75 and up on ebay and Mercari!

I am with you on the slime. I bought the 14 inch and it had slime. It hit the trash immediately. I don't want slime and dolls together.i wish the 14 inch dolls were articulated. Boy did the miss the mark with that mistake. There are a lot of more expensive articulated dolls. I really like the 24 inch Amaya. I agree with you on your rating the doll😊

I've been looking at the Target App at all the Targets around me. So like 15 ? Non have had Poppy. Then my closest one said " limited availability ". So I went there & there was ONE! Just for me ! But now they all say "Out of Stock" again. I also heard Target had a blank listing for RH MOONBOW dolls. So...thats maybe in place of SH? Maybe Poppy is there ? 🤔🤣

I did breakdown and buy Skyler. The hair and face are great, the outfit okay. Love the pet but not doing the slime. Miss the hand articulation, stand and where are the earrings! Still salty about Poppy and undecided about this new direction.

They are positioned the same no matter where you get them. Both Mattel and MGA use way too much plastic ties to keep their dolls in place. I’m always afraid of cutting their hair or clothes when I try to get dolls out.

I agree with you about the shoes. I honestly think sneakers don't go with this particular dress. If it would have been a more sporty dress the sneakers would have worked. This dress is more chique and I think some type of chique shoes, such as Violet's, would have looked way better with it. Additionally, I find the length of the dress a little awkward on her. RH dolls don't have to wear miniskirts and mini dresses all the time. I'd love to see some more dress and skirt variation in RH if I'm honest. However, I think right above the knees or kneelength would have looked better with this Amaya. I also won't style a denim jacket with a sequin dress. I think an updated version of the vinyl jacket which the Amaya hairstyle doll had would have looked a lot better. Lastly, I think the rainbow streaks of her hair should have been at the bottom, behind her neck and behind the white hair. These are just my opinions, though. Nothing I say is factual. Tastes differ 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would question an acid washed denim jacket, but otherwise, girl! Why don't you have a denim jacket? For myself, I've been seriously contemplating a Members Only jacket and a pair of Reeboks to go with it.

I think Amaya is pretty but….she’s still a pass for me. I also hate those shoes. 🤢 And I’d need to remove the glitter that was sneezed onto her face. Her pet is okay, but I’d rather have a different accessory instead. Regarding Poppy, she’s the last RH I bought and I had a tough time finding her. This was in early November 2023.

I'm nuts for the clothes these dolls have. Found Poppy's butterfly shoes in a thrift store, in a bag of assorted doll clothes. They fit the Harry Potter ladies and the Wrestler ladies! I'm with you on the Play-doh and slime but for a different reason. Pet hair and assorted dust. Wanna build something at my house, there's the Lego blocks. I can wash them. Every time I see those shoes (Rai-n-bow) I think of my niece. Her middle name was Rai. :(
