Ghost-note is such a great band. The fact that I am able to hear their creativity makes me happy.
This studio is right down the street from my house. Super small world
So in the freaking Pocket! Nice.
Psychedelic Afro funk at its best!!!
I could listen to this groove all day!
Really love that bass sound.

I think I hear a bit of an octave down effect blended in. Like a Boss OC-2 pedal or something.

Hey dummy if people listened to this music en mass & bought and supported creative music made by musicians not the crap fed to them by the industry then sure this wouldn't be the high tech dark age that it is. BUT THEY DON'T! These guy's are going out to their hoopties to drive home to their various situations that aren't at all well off.

As soon as that drum beat started rippin, I instantly thought -Oh YEA we got some Tony Allen right here baby!
@phonkyfeel1

Kind of...this rhythm has as much density as afrobeat... But this feels a little more ripping than Tony Allen. Tony Allen rips no doubt, but he does it in a more subtle, mature way. This feels like afrobeat at Lollapalooza, to me
nobody’s gonna talk about Nate nailing that hand to hand at 4:56??

BRAVO!!! The players in this band have serious chops, but everybody dials it in to keep the music tight, grooving, and fresh. Love it!

Easy solution is to just pretend you don't give a crap the next time she is singing and dancing to one of her favorite songs and wants to have the volume cranked up. My current roommate is similar to where she always has the volume annoying loud when she is singing to her favorite songs but as soon as it's my turn to put on something, it seems to be a convenient time for her to take a bathroom break or do anything else other than listen to what I have on. I just simply return the favor.

That’s crazy I’ve actually done a recording in that same studio, did one last year in may and this year around the same time
nice
This is where it's at
Damn! This sounds so much like Fela...
What effect pedal, patch, hook up etc is Mono Neon using to get that Synth sound on his Bass?!!! This Dude is unfreakin believable!!,! I play the same way he does(Lefty/ upside down) But I'm not in his league at all. I play and sing simultaneously. As long as Mono doesn't. It give me an excuse not to be as good as him. Lol!!!! I'm a fan for sure. Keep up the great work fellas!!!
