Old school NASCAR build of the Dick Trickle 1/24 scale Monogram Miller Buick Regal. This is a departure from my aircraft builds and I am so looking forward to sharing this experience!

A Yuengling car would be pretty cool!
On the tires, you could always cut the center ring out and reverse them so you have a smooth side to put your decals on.

That is absolutely an option and one that I considered, I just thought it would be easier to sand since I was already sanding the tread.
Wow - I’ve done the same exact Miller Buick & I used the yellow labeled Goodyear’s as well 🤣🤣
I’d go with the white lettering on the tires. It’s period correct

Looks great! I mostly do drag cars/motorcycles, and a few muscle or factory original auto builds. But many years ago I used to build the old NASCAR cars also. This sure gets me the itch to build a few! Also what did you use on that radiator? That finish is great!

the SalvinosJR tires are so much better than the monograms.
I am doing the ‘86 Rusty Wallace Alugard car and i used my old stencil to spry on my Goodyears. However i got chastised because it was the wrong FONT! Really guys, stop sniffing the glue. I do like the yellow also so do as you please because it sits on your shelf not theirs!!!
