Phil why are you getting me into this rabbit hole of expensive midi devices ?
Hearing this makes me wish they had an option in the remaster to use a sampled version of the MT-32 soundtrack instead of the new one. =)

The graphics actually don't keep up with the music. But it makes sense it should be full on orchestral-level since that's what the Roland-32 stores. It's basally a really high-quality MIDI system, right down to using the same playback information. Monkey Island just happens to be made with it specifically in mind.
