I am sooo shocked at the fact that one piece was the one that broke the live action curse, cause just like the dude said it's fkn BIG AND HARD! and most of the characters are GOOFY LOOKING, yet they managed to make a better live action than the aot live action that only had one season, when they made the live action of aot it only had 1 season so you'd think it'll be easy but nope! Completely ruined that aswell, but somehow the hardest one to be adapted somehow was the one to actually pull through and also pull millions of new fans! I was already praising oda for his good works, then oda was also the one to make the best adaptation, oda truly is a goat god

Even the ending music theme at the end of episode 8 was the opening theme of the very 1st season of the anime. Like the, dedication, the passion and the attention of detail is insane.

The casting was absolutely perfect, even the younger versions. It shows why it’s so important to include the creator of the IP or someone who knows the characters inside and out. They see what maybe the show runners don’t and these actors really embody their character more than on the surface level.

no coz i genuinely find him funny! the script was good, the punch lines were sometimes unexpected which makes it funny then combine it with iñaki's portrayal of luffy, being unbothered and honest. it's perfection

Fun fact about Luffy: In the manga, he’s never drawn thinking with a thought bubble, because he always speaks before thinking and he just says all the dumb shit he thinks about
