They should have dynamic prices on flights based on passenger weight too as well as the luggage. That would be a good idea.

I agree Let's keep Americans in the land of the free
Why doesn't one of the banks open 5-9pm or something rather than 10am till 4pm when everyone is at work
I think it makes no sense to remove the human factor from the self assessment service. You are 100% right that for some things we just need the right answer from a verified source. Financial education is poor as it is. How can they expect people to report their taxes properly without the advice of a qualified person. Or even to have the information online communicated in an understandable form. Especially when improper tax self assessments can result in fines or more.

Agreed. I’m part of the so-called “digital generation”, yet, when to a situation that is a bit more complex, I always prefer to speak to a human. There are things you can convey in speech that you cannot over text, let’s not even mention asking those bots with limited information that you’ve probably read on the website already.
@32:25, Disneyland sort of does this dynamic pricing worldwide - I don’t know if they consider weather, but if a particular day is popular, the price usually goes up if you happen to buy! I understand that Amazon also does dynamic pricing for items (increases and decreases). It’s “interesting” to say the least.
Hello Amelia - congrats on your new position.
Signing up to news letters like clever with your cash is sensible.
I used a coin machine in my local Morrisons and it did not say anything clearly about it keeping a 20% commision...
She sounds like a nice lady and a great communicator.
@37:19, Now that would cause an uproar! Imagine you go into a shop in the morning and burgers are £3.50 a pack, then in the afternoon it’s £5 due to it being a hit BBQ day. The supermarkets might be weary to implement, but the smaller corner stores or off licences… 😅
I never sign up to anything free trails. They are always a pain to cancel. They'd have to pay me to try them and use them 😂😂😂
I like the idea of dynamic prices. That means on rainy days it will be really cheap.
Nice to welcome Amelia to the podcast. Sound connection could be improved though
I heard you get 10% of all flights using the Boeing 737 max if you bring your own tool to secure the panels on the plane before take off.
Welcome Amelia, great content guys! Advice from a video editor - please get her some microphone / get rid off this noise cancellation (probably turned on by default on zoom/laptop) - it makes sound come and go, tad distracting
I have a ISA question on how the interest rates work! I am very new to the savings game and trying my best to sort out my financials so hopefully someone can help! I see Moneybox has the 5.16% * AER (variable) offer. If I was to deposit say £500 a month into that account, every month for the year, would the interest be compounded and total up to a higher amount or would it work out to be just a 5.16% increase on top of what I have deposited total? Any help on what is most likely a silly question would be greatly appreciated!!

AER includes compounding in it's percentage. But As you are depositing monthly the not all the money is in the account for the full year so it won't return the full 5.2%. Compared to if you say deposited £1000 at the start of the year at the end of the year you would get the full £52 in interest. Not a silly question, it is confusing
Gym Membership direct debits. I know many people who pay for a membership and don't go to the gym. One friend hasn't been in over year.
Great video format and interesting discussion, thanks.
Thank you to you both, a really good show.
Dynamic pricing! Supply and Demand. Deal with it, and pay it ! I'm fine with dynamic pricing, why shouldn't taxi / uber drivers have some good moments of being rewarded for the work they do. Fin Air now have dynamic pricing for body weight, and about time !
A minimum wagie isn't suppose to sustain you your whole life and have a car, holidays, new iphone, 15 sky packages and 12 kids. Its suppose to be a job to start off or just surviving on that's why its the minimum.

Unfortunately a lot of skilled jobs are now minimum wage. Or 10p above it. It's a pittance either way.
The liquids thing really is just an issue at UK airports. It’s always a lot more relaxed abroad with many not even caring about laptops and tablets being out of the bag. It really does seem to just be a power play as even cabin crew get grief despite the nature of their job and needing a dozen mini items to keep themselves presentable.

TSA in the US are extreme on Airport security, full on, and don't take no nonsense to some of their authoritarian 🐂 💩
Congratulations Amelia ✨

Banks in Thailand can provide you with a new, a replacement debit card in branch. Simplicity at its best !
Normal people can’t afford fair trade products, the richer buy this stuff so obviously it hasn’t gone down because there not feeling it yet
I wouldn’t want to accept information from a KZreadr as they are not tax experts.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🙏
A bit of fresh air with Amelia's beautiful voice. However, I don't know if it is because of the connection or Amelia's microphone 🎤 either should be improved. Anyway, well done to you both.
Profiteering by so many industries, needs investigating. Retail prices v costs.
Sound quite poor on Amelia’s pieces.
I despise the free trial by these unethical online subscription providers. They can and are able to provide a free trial without them making a demand that the person taking the free trial cancels. Utterly unethical by these capitalist rats, giving capitalism a poor reflection. I am all for capitalism, however 'ethical capitalism' ! No ethics in business then may karma have it's way on your business.
