At my station treading on my ninth decade with my worn old body and my autism still bickering on which wishes were more important while meeting the new day, I tend to gather what was already in my inventory for a reprise. One such gem I ponder were the ending lines of poetry written by Trumbull Stickney from the poem, ‘The Soul of Time’. ‘…I cannot understand you. 'T is because You lean over my meaning's edge and feel A dizziness of the things I have not said.’ My autism has been a teacher and it took a near life time for me to decipher the lessons, for it was unrecognized by most others as it appeared to be almost a vagabond and not to be trusted. It was through my working with canines and horses that I learned that my essence was clear to them and it was to be trusted and already sufficient.

That's cool inversion. Like that. I had a dream this a.m. senior lady says you look lost. I said I'm tired. So she starts praying in JC name. I say I'm Jew. So this sweet lady walks away then comes back and hands me a Star of David. I love Psalms especially 145. She must've read it 🙂

When we allow others to help they feel good about their ability to help. It’s a two way street. When we don’t allow others to help us when we need it, that is taking away others opportunities to feel good about it. I was told once that I was selfish for not allowing others to help me when I needed it. When she told me why it was selfish to take away peoples opportunities to give because it’s good for their heart too, I understood what she meant. ❤

The piano will always be the "tool of the mind". No instrument has achieved more impact on humanity. 🙏♥️. My favorite bands use a piano as thier primary instrument. Supertramp is my favorite, but Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and Billy Joel comes close in second. Music keeps us alive. I've been suffering from something mental since I can remember. Bad things happened to me when I was very young. Sexual things. I've always thanked mother earth, my furry friends, and Music to get me thru each painful day. At 35 years I may well be the oldest survivor of HIV/AIDS that has never been hospitalized and just went five without any meds in five years.....there was always a piano around when I was growing up. When my grandma used to babysit me in the mid sixties when would spend hours playing my uncle's Harpsichord. I was pre six years old when she had her stroke and I never saw her spirit again. I ran in when I heard something break in the bathroom. I'm the only one that saw what happened that day. Her and my uncle used to teach me how to play when no one else was around. At one time grandma had five pianos in thier house. My parents were married there.

I have autism as well and what you said about those bad days makes perfect sense. On those bad days we still have to mask and we still have to keep going and it really does feel like a dream. All we can do is our very best on days like that. Hang in there and keep working with those hands. ❤️

I'm autistic as well, for an autistic person is very hard to ask for help so I appreciate your words because I know which effort it is required. I think you've asked it in such a true and cute way that everything you decide it will be welcomed and supported .It's a good idea to do a guesthouse, you can decide who is ok for you and how long people can stay. It's so true what you say about to judge and being judged. This piano is beautiful and your music this morning was a blessing for my autistic day. Thank you. 🧡

I will definitely pray for an influx of monetary help for you. I am currently being helped financially by a wonderful ministry of Jonathan Kleck. There were times we didn’t have enough food, but the Lord always comes through. I am raising my grandchildren on a pension at 61, so it gets hard to stretch it out for 30 days. You have blessed me so much with your music and with your heart. May the Lord God bless you as much as He has blessed me. Thank you pretty lady ❤

God bless you. Be careful to guide your children away from some of this so called "music" these days. Real music survives for countless years, not a few months on the charts.😉.....every fad fades away quickly. Every good band has a keyboard.

I would suggest a yearly gathering. (I always suggest a yearly gathering for folks looking to develop a property for creative living.) A music and arts festival. A nomad gathering. Or (and) a retreat. You're the venue only; others are the hosts and they rent from you for their event. You would only set up the living and meeting spaces. I live nomadically in my skoolie and spaces where our type is welcomed are few and far between. So a space to stay, with really good wifi and communal spaces, in exchange for help building it out. You might even attract other KZreadrs who could use the building content, or homeschoolers, or folks who host workshops on permaculture and sustainable building practices... etc. All of these ventures would use the same infrastructure that you could develop over 5ish years. Your space is kept private. I have an entire concept in stages, depending on the property, for a communal use village. So cool!! I think you could conjure help easily.

I'm something of a musician. This playing was just beautiful. I found myself thinking of lyrics that wouldn't diminish the wonderful instrumental.

Sometimes this old world can just drag you down. And it's hard to get through. Music has a way upcoming or emotions. Lifting us up to higher frequency. Especially when it comes from the heart. May the Creator bless you and keep you always

Helping people is a blessing and we should not deprive others of that by not asking for help. It took me decades to realize that. . . . Check with your local community resource center. They should have a list of organizations that help, and I know where I live in WA state there are many churches of different faiths that help with zero strings or expectations attached (truly humans just helping humans). And many of them have hands-on-deck that will pitch in like an Amish barn raising. Keep us posted. I can’t help right now but I can in a couple months. I also suggest to set up a Buy Me a Coffee account so we can give a couple dollars on a monthly subscription basis. I can do Buy Me a Coffee right now but not something more substantial for a couple months from now.

Hey Melinda The first Instrument I meet in my live was with 8 Jears . It was a Piano from the Grandvathers dad I was playing with this litle fingers slowly ....I listen to the tone . Al from the family says .. Woaah with 8 Jears ? Good boy . I think that was the moment I say to my self . I like to be a Muscan 😊 I feld happy and proud . Later my Grandpa buy me an Acoustic Guitar for kids . But than came this accident with a bysicle falin for weeks in Koma. I had ol forgotten 😢 Later when I grow older .... I think the piano is perfect just as it is. I think little imperfections are perfect. I understand about those rough days. I have ADHD and I have some really intense days at times. It is nice to remember that you need to just give yourself a little grace. I agree with the others that are suggesting a patreon support. Melinda, I wish I could help but I don't even have a place of my own... and two children to support... my elder child diagnosed with autism who has been very unwell for several years with contamination OCD (amongst other things), and my younger child who is probably also autistic but not diagnosed. Actually, I am probably autistic myself, as life has always been a challenge for me to cope with and I have many similar traits to my elder child. I really wish I could help you sort out your place. Wish I could also provide a proper home for my children too, they deserve more than I am able to give them with my earnings. (single mum) How I love you and your posts, you're an inspiration. I’ve been doing a lot of research lately on proper diet. I’ve run across a number of articles on the benefits of the carnivore diet on autism. Some people are saying all their symptoms have disappeared on the carnivore diet. Just food for thought. 😊Pun intended.
