I would highly recommend Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı's poems, age thirty five is a quite dark but beautiful collection. Also Necip Fazıl Kısakürek's poetry is classic as well. Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil is a cult when it comes to novels.

random italian novel recommendation: One, No One, And a Hundred Thousand. described as a "chronicle of madness", it's about this man who is told by his wife that his nose is just slightly crooked on his face. realizing that everyone around you-- strangers, friends, family-- all have different perceptions of who you are, the protagonist spirals into a crisis. one of my favorites !!

I literally just bought Pickwick Papers last night due to your recommendation and I'm so excited for it's arrival so that I can join in with the read along. I can't remember if I mentioned this to you already or not, but Paulo Coelho is one of my favorite authors and he is from Brazil. He has written so many books and they're all very philosophical and spiritual so I think you would really like his work!

Audible has an amazing audiobook of Pickwick with an intro by Neil Gaiman and narrated by Rory Kinnear. Truly excellent.

I love the idea of a book-reading journal since I read multiple books at one time. The pages are so cute. I am currently reading the Jake family's books. Cora, Sarah, and pastor TD Jakes. I admire the different views of opinion from the three of them.
